  12. Yes, you can be glutened with the cc from the dip. Although, I think frito lay corn chips are gluten free (plain ones). I was glutened when I brought some barbeque beef to work and everyone took the spoon and rubbed it on thier bread when making their sandwiches. Was sick for several days because of this. Needless to say, I no longer participate in shared...
  13. Soy Joy also has some great bars. Not quite sure of the fiber content, but they taste really good and the texture is awesome. Something like a biscotti. Wenmin
  14. Never tried my hand at making biscuits, but for the ritz crackers, a good substitute is Glutino GLuten Free Crackers. I get the Cheddar Crackers, but there are several different kinds. These don't taste like cheddar, but they remind me of a similar version of Ritz. I use them to eat turkey/chicken salad, with salads, with peanut butter, etc. They can...

  16. Just got back from the Doctor's office. Was told all my symptoms were allergies. Told me to get some Zyrtec/Claratin (sp?). Can anyone help? Is it safe...

  19. I have never substituted the applesauce for oil/butter in Gluten Free Mixes, but have used it in Regular Mixes and yes it is about 1:1 ratio. I don't buy in big jars because I don't like applesauce, but instead I buy in individual servings and can use what I want without wasting the "whole jar." Most regular recipes call for about 1/4 cup oil, which is...
  20. Try unsweetend apple sauce. I usually substitute it for oil as we are on a lowfat diet as well as a gluten free diet. Wenmin

  24. Went Gluten Free in July 2008. Never had any issues with gallbladder that I knew of. In January 2009, I got a really bad attack and went to the Doctor, thinking it was gluten related. WRONG! Doctor said I had gallstones and had to have the gall bladder removed. Within 2 weeks, I was under the knife. Back at work within 1 week, never had any other issues...
