Just ran across fruity pebbles and cocoa pebbles treats that are clearly marked gluten free. I tried a fruitty pebble treat and it was tolerable. Was never a big fan of the "pebbles" cereals though. I would imagine that this would be a great on the go snack idea for anyone. Wenmin

Oh yeah, and while I'm here, other than Kettle brand, does anyone know of a gluten free potato chip that can be bought in a regular grocery store? Thanks! Ruffles chips (plain), Cheetos (plain), Funyuns, Corn Chips (plain) are all gluten free. -
ARCHIVED Stuffed Cabbage Recipe?
Wenmin replied to CarolinaKip's topic in Gluten-Free Recipes & Cooking Tips
I don't have a cabbage roll recipe, but a casserole recipe. This recipe does not have tomatoes, but instead calls for cream of mushroom soup. I have found some gluten free brands of cream of mushroom in the past. I guess you could substitute corn chex or rice chex for the bread crumb topping...I haven' made this in a while (as you can tell) Pre-gluten... -

Look up C-Diff. The antibiotics kill off the good and bad bacteria in your system. When they come back the bad take over and cause many problems. A friend of mine lost her mother to undiognosed (found out too late) C-diff. My mom had this after a round of antibiotics due to oral surgery. She is a transplant patient and had a rough recovery. Not quite sure if there are different varities, but here in South Louisiana we do eat these. Remove prickly outer skin and peel back "bark" (sort of like a celery stalk, you must "shave" the outer casing). Wash. Cut into small rings (sort of like onion rings) add salt, pepper and vinegar. One of our favorite sprintime treats.....Awesome gluten free salad... -

When I officially became an undiagnosed celiac by my Celiac Specialist, that was his exact words. He asked if I was doing well on the diet. I told him yes, I was. He asked if I officially needed a diagnosis. I asked if it was necessary and asked him to explain the benefits/down fall of being diagnosed celiac. He said, "I know you are celiac, and you... -
