  1. Those chips are probably what caused the symptoms. Some people have had problems with brands that are made on the same lines and then end up with cross contamination issues. I have problems with certain chips. 3 Muskateers are gluten free. I agree though...if you don't know for sure that something is gluten free then you should not be eating it.
  2. Very good attitude you have. See there are good things you can still have: ) I love Tinkyada and Kinnikinnick

  5. I believe it can be..but that would be fine for celiacs...it will be safe 9 out of 10 times but if it doesn't say modified dorn starch or specific like that and just says modified food starch then you need to call the manufacturer

  8. I heard that they inject the fruits with some sort of chemical ...I don't know if that is true but I have read that in a few books. They also irradiate them which is basically is like processing and radiating your fruits. I think thats just wrong.
  9. That is one of the most specific tests for celiac but the whole panel needs to be run. You see if she is IgA deficient that test can show up normal when it may really be high. So the total serum IgA will rule out IgA defienciency. A gene test is never a bad thing either since most celiacs have the HLA-DQ2 or HLA-DQ8 gene. If she has symptoms of celiac I would...
  10. Yep...looks pretty good. Modified Food Starch is good most of the time but if not specified you need to call.
  11. I am going on a trip and flying for the first time since 9/11. I was recommended to take Dramamine even though I rarely get motion sickness. Anyhow, before calling them I wanted to see if anyone on here knew if it was gluten free. Thanks.
