  1. I have not had a problem with Cheetos but that brand some people have had a problem with.
  2. I like the Glutino ones pretty well but haven't found anything just like a Saltine yet.
  3. Most corn tortilla chips are safe...you just have to read the label to make sure.
  4. I have never had a problem with Starbucks. However, I know they do have dairy but I heard somewhere that upon request they have soy milk.
  5. I love the Delphi List. It has helped so much as far as convenience is concerned.
  6. We get spammers on here from time to time. This guy obviously has way too much time on his hands. Or maybe its just that wheat in the air thats messing with his brain
  7. I'm young(19) and it took me like 8 months to really get back to normal but it really depends on how much damage you have. Everyone has different healing rates.Make sure all of your products are gluten free to (like makeup, shampoo, etc) and just make sure you are not getting gluten.
  8. If he thinks that he may have it then he needs to go get help from an ER immediately. That is not something to mess with and hopefully it is not.

    ARCHIVED Dove?

Dove won't hide anything and I use their products all the time
  10. I'm really late on this but I am sorry to hear that. I have not been around much anymore for some of the same reasons...in addition to being busy though but I still love the board and the people here:)
  11. My church has mission trips to India. One of the guys that works in our church office who sometimes preaches was born in India....Calcutta
  12. O yea!!! Paintball rocks..go for it
  13. Stay completely away from it.
  14. You should be able to recover fully but u need to be diligent with your diet because if you cheat then your damage will not be healed. I have found good pizza and found a good way to make pizza too.
  15. No cures are out there. They are working on pills to have to prevent the damage from the gluten but that is not a cure..that is taking potentially dangerous drugs every day. I would much rather stay gluten free. Some people may have symptoms at some point and then their symptoms may go away but thats normal with celiac..some people never even get symptoms...
  16. A food diary is a great idea. I hope you find out what is causing it. You could have a sensitivity or intolerance of some kind that is causing it. Also, msg causes many problems so it could be an additive like that. You may not be celiac but you may still have a problem with gluten.. Have you looked into doing an Enterolab?
  17. Some people may have symptoms at one point and then not at another point but there is no such thing as remission. If she/he is on gluten now...they are still doing damage to their bodies.
  18. wheat=gluten spelt=wheat Therefore spelt=gluten
  19. Prometheus...I used them and they are one of the best labs for celiac testing. They do a full panel and a gene test. I would highly recommend them and doctors accept them alot better than an Enterolab. If it comes back negative and you are having symptoms then I would recommend an Enterolab but I would go woth Prometheus first choice.
  20. There is no cure at this point and I don't think there is a "cure". I know they were testing some sort of pill so you will be able to ingest gluten but thats not a cure because you will have to take pills like every day of your life. I would rather stay gluten free and have them on hand in case of accidental glutenings.
  21. It could be. Overeating on gluten could possibly lead to it to activate. So if you have drank alot that could have.
  22. I live near Frederick MD
  23. I have had that problem before and the broiling helped out a bit
  24. Yep, safe in the US unless it says otherwise.
  25. I eat that brand(the ones that are gluten free) and have not had a problem
