  1. You can have false negatives with blood tests or biopsies
  2. I get symptoms immediately but some people get delayed reactions while others get no symptoms at all. Depends on the person
  3. MSG is ok from a gluten standpoint but it is so bad for you and actually causes drug reactions in the body.

  5. Yep, some people do not get immediate reactions so it can be hard to tell what the possible contaminant was. I hope you get over the reaction very fast.

  8. I use alot of Dove and Herbal Essences shampoos. 7th Generation products are more natural and all of theirs are gluten free

  17. absolute no no...do you have the safe and forbidden list of ingredients and foods that we can and can't have. That may be something to help you out.
  18. You may want to try Digestive Enzymes...they have helped me a lot over the years.

  21. Glutenease may be ok when you are accidentally glutened or something but it should not give you the right to eat gluten. That's not a smart avenue for celiacs.

  23. Everyone on here is great when it comes to helping out and making things easier. Anyhow, it may seem overwhelming but it really is not bad once you learn the ropes. There is a list floating around this board of brands that will clearly list wheat,rye,barley,and oats and if they don't have one of those ingredients then they are gluten free. This helps us because...

  25. I have not been around too much anymore due to my schedule but I was very surprised of some of the threads I read when I came back. It seems like it gets too personal at times. I think this place is here for people to talk and share information and support each other and not criticize people for what they think if it is different. I am glad you posted about...
