  3. I take magnesium, drink sooo much water, distance run, eat a lot of fiber, follow a gluten and dairy free vegetarian diet, etc. Everything necessary to be 'regular'.   5. Thats awesome! Im in cross country and since going gluten free my running has progressively been getting waaay better! Theres even another girl on the team who has celiac. Its crazy! WOOHOO for you! Are you planning on doing another one?
  6. Have you tried gaining more muscle. Maybe you could go to the gym and do some lifting and strength training. It would be a good way to gain weight without excess fat.

  9. You should try magnesium supplements. I had the same problem, my doctor had me on 2 doses of miralax, 2 doses of dulcolax, and 2 doses of colace. It was horrible! I felt so bad taking all of them, and they barely even helped. I tried prune juice, hot lemon concoction, etc. The magnesium has regulated me and its good for you too. Good luck!
  10. I had the same problem. The only thing that EVER helped regulate it, like perfectly regulate it, is taking a magnesium supplement daily. You can adjust it. Take enough to the point where you have regular bowel movements, if it becomes diarrhea, lower the amount you take. Plus, magnesium is great for heart function
  11. Welcome Jodi! I would suggest eating more carbs(rice is cheap and easy!) and more nuts. Things like peanut or nut butters are good, or just snacking on nuts throughout the day. To add to the muscle, simple things like doing pushups, squats, lunges when you wake up and before going to bed could make a small difference. Good luck and welcome here!

  16. I made them and they were really good, the dough was crumbly. Then my friend and I made them, and she doesnt know much about being gluten free(shes not gluten free) so she decided since its crumbly to add some water. Totally screwed them up!   18. Im a gluten free,dairy free,vegetarian. There are 3 gluten free 'burgers' I've had: --Amy's Bistro Burger --Sunshine Burgers --Oregon Harvest Veggie Patti (not all are gluten free!) I prefer tempeh to tofu as well. You can marinate it in anything, i like lemon/herb tempeh! I dont think its hard being a gluten free vegetarian. Even dairy free...

  21. I know the feeling! It sucks. But there are worse things and we just need to push through it! I think the best thing to do is find the things you could skip out on and make them homemade, it could save some money and taste better too
  22. Totally agree. I had 3 negative blood results and I went gluten free anyway and all my horrible issues were gone. We finally tested thru enterolab, so that is an option too if you need more assurance. But I would save your money and just realize that there is a problem and gluten free for life could fix it. Sure its a hassle but its a heck of a lot better...
