I like Jules Flour for everything..But with my yeast breads I only use about 1 cup of Jules and add other flours...with a little extra xanthan gum....Even better there is NO grit with JULES flour and it makes fantastic pastry crust...AND pound for pound the cost is cheaper if you buy in bulk with free shipping. You can also order a sample size to check it...

  5. I have experienced those type of symptoms...usually when I have not eaten for over a long period of time...like overnight... Mostly when I first get up in the morning....
  6. Well I did not bake mine in the bread machine, I used a stand up mixer and let the dough rise in the pan for about 3/4 hour or so or until the dough came just over the top of the pan. If you bread machine is programmable you could program it for a longer rise time...
  7. The size pan you are using is just fine...I don't think you are cooking it enough...sometimes my bread takes at least 45-55 minutes.   9. I have made roux several times with different gluten-free flour blends...I don't have much luck with just plain rice flours either... I can't wait to try Jules gluten-free Flour in my gravies...I just received Jules flour today and baked cookies and an apple pie...My hubby thought I had fallen off the gluten-free wagon!   11. It could be...check your breakmaker's manual...Your machine might be able to select the length of time it bakes for a darker crust....

  15. Either is fine...but it will last longer if you completely cool it, slice it and place the slices in a zip lock bag and take out the slices as needed... Enjoy! Don't be afraid to experiment... and have some fun with it...have the kids help, they will love it!

  17. What flours did you end up using? Usually flour blends have their own Xanthan Gum in then already...But if you use plain gluten-free Flours then you need to add the Xanthan Gum

  23. My goodness....you think I would read labels...boy I am new at this... I have been nibbling on nuts because I have been so hungry and wondering why my stomach is off... Well right there on the back was the words Processed in a facility that has wheat and tons of other allergens...duh I guess I am still learning I think Fisher Nuts are ok.....
