  1. Just a clarification - did you have the Celiac blood tests run? How long were you gluten free when they were run? You need to be eating gluten for them to be positive ( simple explanation)
  2. Nachos are gluten-free. At least the ones I make at home! Mission chips, cheese, salsa, grilled chicken, canned beans ( refried or otherwise), sour cream..... Just read the ingredients - occasionally wheat is an ingredient. And go back to eating gluten and get the blood tests. Any doctor can order them - family practice, OB/ GYNS, GI, Allergy...
  3. All the info on this thread is really old. I would re- verify the ingredients or check the more recent threads about this topic. Shampoos and beauty products change constantly with whatever the latest fad is. Read the ingredients.
  4. I have to make sure I have my extra strength (200s) reading glasses at the grocery. Even then, some print is really small.
  5. Do your eyes water when you cut an onion? Or when there is smoke from the BBQ or pollen in the air?
  6. Many illnesses are treated by just treating the symptoms because we have no " cure" to treat the disease. I would think, for a person with Sjorgrens that treating the dry eye would be better than loosing their eyesight while waiting for a cure. Treating the blood sugar issues of a diabetic with insulin seems better to me than waiting for a a cure to fix...
  7. I know the dry eye part can lead to some serious eye issues. Open Original Shared Link
  8. If you have been gluten free, you may see no damage with the Endo biospies.
  9. Just a clarification - were you gluten free when you did Celiac blood tests? That would make the tests useless.
  10. " Hotter than Hell " ghost pepper cheese was pretty darn hot!
  11. Its not but.... if you think you will accidentally get some in your mouth - from splashing, your fingers, drips, etc. you would want a gluten-free shampoo. Wolfie - I think most of the Dove ones are and the Garnier ones. I just read the ingredients to make sure they don't list wheat germ oil.
  12. How about a doctor? Have you been tested for parasite and Bacteria overgrowth? Maybe you don't have a gluten or dairy issue at all and just need to get that treated.
  13. Looks like you are following this topic, so you know how to do that. You might want to go into your profile in notification settings and have an email sent to you when there is a response? Or an on- site notification.
  14. I used it to make these: Open Original Shared Link I liked how easy they were to roll out - not sticky like most gluten-free dough. I would use them again for appetizers. They were very chewy. My older son thought you could use it to make a sweet version of the pizza rolls.
  15. You are commenting on a 5 year old post. Oats need to be certified gluten-free as the normal growing/processing of them contaminates them with wheat. Therefore - Cheerios are NOT SAFE for Celiacs Also, some Celiacs cannot eat them at all. That is why it is usually recommended that you wait 6-12 months before trying them.
  16. I can see you are one of those guys that wants to fix it for the crying ladies. Sometimes there is nothing to fix and that drives you guys nuts! But women find it very sweet.
  17. Honestly, D, I don't think it is physical. You have a lot of kids and have spent so much time being strong for them (including when you were pregnant) that you have learned how not to cry. You are taking care of everyone else. Doing that isn't bad. It may be more of a typical "man" response to a situation but I don't think its odd. I find myself doing...
  18. I have seen that in the US, too. They mix all the "healthy" stuff together in one section. Sometimes a brand makes gluten-free and non-gluten-free stuff. The person putting them out at the store just lumps them together. Good catch!
  19. I have never seen gluten in bacon in the United States. I hear it may be different In other countries.
  20. Open Original Shared Link{"sort":1,"page":1,"pagesize":12,"diets":[213]} Nature made has a lot of gluten-free vitamins. Check the vitamin amounts. I have found that some children's and adult vitamins aren't very different in amounts of each " vitamin". Walgreens has a lot of gluten-free store brand products, you could check them. target has started...
  21. Just a Forum rule clarification here - technically " bumps" are not allowed. But that is for your own posts as you can't force people to reply. This is just a new poster re- starting a conversation instead of starting a new one. That is OK. To answer the poster: Just because there is a CYA statement, that doesn't mean there is any gluten in the vitamins...
  22. So delicious makes some yummy ice cream, too! One or two flavors aren't gluten-free, so check the ingredients. The cookie dough flavor is gluten-free cookie dough.
  23. Open Original Shared Link I love this stuff for my coffee and I can have dairy!
  24. I'm just thinking about the lactose. But that doesn't seem like much milk/lactose for the day. Maybe that's not a problem.
  25. Are you eating dairy? IF so, you might want to cut it out for a few weeks and see if that helps. When you get everything running smoothly, you can try it again.
