  1. I think Timothy does not have Celiac, he had colitis. I belive they also meant things like grains, dairy, whatever isn't on that diet but a Celiac can have. I'm not going to argue with you. i don't think you can find any evidence that the SCD diet would cure an autoimmune disease. Not a reputable source, anyway..
  2. You can get little brushes that you can clean the spouts with. Sometimes they are with the baby bottles at Walmart sometimes just with the kitchen sponges. Open Original Shared Link Vinegar cleans tea off well.
  3. its not supposed to be over 100 in S Dakota!
  4. 5 pm and 103F. tomorrow 107. the sprinklers will be on tomorrow for lacrosse.
  5. you forget your reading glasses and have to buy a pair at Target before you can buy the groceries!
  6. I don't think any of these posters said they are cured of Celiac. They are " symptom free" or the diet helped them heal. They aren't saying they can eat gluten with no issues.

    ARCHIVED Help With Analysis Results

I'm not an expert, but they look like they are coming down. It can take longer than 2 months for them to go back to normal.
  8. Good job! Looks like you have thought this out! Good luck! I would love to know how this works out. Keep posting, especially if you get resistance. We may be able to think of something. My son goes to Colorado State. They seem to have very good precautions in place. But you wouldn't know about some of them if you didn't ask. Like fresh gloves,...
  9. You could print out ( with links to prove they are real) info from the various Celiac Centers. They all have a part where they have a "no gluten, not even a crumb" statement. Also, a note from your GI and regular doctor saying that those gluten-free provisions are not safe nor provide a balanced diet. Have you talked to the food service and Disability...
  10. I always wonder: who are these brave souls are that would purposefully ingest gluten and make themselves sick?
  11. You will probably need an official diagnosis. Contact the Disiabilty department and find out what you might need. They may tell you that, even with a diagnosis, they provide gluten-free food so pay up.
  12. I would. No scientific evidence.....just know I would think I was sick after eating it. : Is it yummy? Maybe read the ingredients and you could find another way to make it? Like potato starch or corn meal instead?
  13. It's fine to continue on with your thread. Sounds like you didn't have the Celiac blood teast run? I would ask to get those done.
  14. Maybe eliminate dairy products and see if you get better? Did he re- test your anti- bodies? That could give you an idea if you are on the right track.
  15. Were you diagnosed with Celiac or Gluten intolerance? I ask because it sounds like your mom thinks your diet is a choice not a medical need.
  16. I know you said you did your research, but in case you missed this Open Original Shared Link
  17. The Celiac test is a blood test.
  18. Your insurance might not pay for the same test twice in a few months time. Especially if the first test is negative.
  19. Why not get the Celiac blood tests before you spend a lot of time and money on other things? Just because they were negative 3 years ago, doesn't mean they will never be positive.
  20. Did you check the category of support groups on the main page yet? https://www.celiac.com/categories/Celiac-Disease-Support-Groups%2C-Organizations-%26amp%3B-Contacts/United-States-of-America%3A-Celiac-Disease-Support-Groups-and-Organizations/
  21. I have to say that when I saw the title of this post, I hurried to read the "blog". I was afraid the chiropracter was taking people off insulin and "curing" them with a gluten-free diet as the title implied. Relieved to see she is just posting study results from the child's doctor.
  22. Perhaps there is another ingredient in processed foods that bothers you?
  23. Please note that the previous info on these products is 4 years old. Ingredients and manufacturing practices change over time. Don't go by 4 year old product info.
  24. Just got a good look at the "slop" some players have to eat. It is oatmeal and who knows what else. Doubt it gluten-free. I guess you can't have Celiac and be on this show.
  25. These are from the celiac.com page. Down the left side " support groups". Then the link to local groups. I am trying to get a hold of someone I know in St Louis to see if she has anything for you.
