    Anyone can put anything on line. They can make a slick website and even fake research. If there was a pill we could take, don't you think every Celiac website would talk about them. And pretty soon we wouldn't need a Celiac website.

    The head quarters of Appleby's is in Lenexa. This poster probably has such good luck because she works at a restaurant. The cooks know her and cook for her when they aren't too busy.     Have you asked her about the whole wheat stuff? What did she say? What does the Dad say? You may have to report them. If you know who the pediatrician is, you might talk to him/ her.

    Just to be contrary.... I have a SIL who gives you a list of all the things she is "allergic" to. You work really hard to have most of the foods OK for her, like 2 desserts - 1 with no dairy or eggs one with. She then eats the one I told her has egg & dairy.     Looking at his age, I would definitely check if he is cheating or eating something he thinks is gluten-free but isn't. One example that comes up a lot are Rice Krispy Treats or corn flakes. Check the other stuff, too.

    In the US, which I believe the OP is, wheat must be listed if its an ingredient. Potato and corn don't have to be.

    She isn't but she won't get tested. If she is, it isn't her worst issue. Hope they let us decorate her room for Xmas! trying to decide if we should go tasteful or gaudy!     This is un- Psilly but I guess this is where to put it. My mom has some heart issues. A Fib occasionally and an aortic heart valve that functions at about 30%.     Get an actual copy of the results. It's amazing how many people on here have been told they are positive or negative because the doc read them wrong or the nurse didn't highlight the out of range numbers.
