  1. I have copied it if you want to take it off. Is Pamelas Baking & Pancake Mix OK for this? This recipe reminds of a friend I had as a teen who put instant coffee in any cake mix. Thanks.
  2. I could test the recipe for you & see if it makes sense & works for the ordinary people. Happy Birthday Bunnie!
  3. Did try the BC with added choc chips & they were good. Maybe I will try gluten-free Pantry.
  4. Need some cooking advice: I want to make a gluten-free dessert to take to the Robotics Banquet but I haven't really baked anything yet. Needs to be something teens will like & not to hard to make. Need to make lots because the kids will all want to try it. I can bake with gluten, just have to figure out how to without it. The kids were quite matter...
  5. Maybe you've shocked him in the right direction. If not, maybe you can shock him in the right direction. They do those electic shock treatments at your hospital? My computer jumps & makes it near impossible to babble on. I don't let it stop me! Must see a pic of this! My mom always dribbles on herself. I don't think she would...
  6. It is really hard at first. I'm not tempted but feel sad. Also, I have to watch for old habits like snitching a goldfish cracker as a kid goes by. First day I went gluten-free, I made a glutinous PB&J for kid school lunch. After I wrapped it, I had PB on fingers & just licked them without thinking. Told the boys that the jar of pretzels...
  7. On your way west, could you pick me up? We will have to take notes like some of us should have in school.
  8. You can cry on our shoulders (or computers) anytime. I suppose it depends on what job she is applying for? Business casual is different for different industries.
  9. Sounds lovely, bunnie! I didn't think you were going to tuck your pants into your best cowboy boots (unless its a saddle company) but.... I had someone bring a baby (& someone she met on the bus on the way over to watch the baby) to an interview. As soon as I heard that a stranger was with the baby in the outer office, I couldn't go on. I had to...
  10. If she has been eating gluten all along, I say get tested. Having a diagnosis could help with school but also, college dorm life. I went to an all day event at the Georgia Dome & they were looking in bags for food. I got a note from my doctor that I used to get my food in or I would have been very hungry or sick. Might get doctors in the future to...
  11. Congrats & Good luck! My hub is in HR & he would probably say to dress a little nicer than they do. Maybe a blazer with the shirt. I'm assuming the boots are under the pants? Not too tight pants or any cleavage. You probably know all this but you might not believe the stuff women wear to work these days.
  12. Just looked at Taco Bell menu. None of the food looks safe. Most contains wheat & the few that don't they list as cross contaminated.
  13. Did you use the same mixer & cupcake pans for both kinds of cupcakes? I can get my mixer clean because it doesn't have many places for flour to hide but alot of cupcake pans have little creases & even using paper cups wouldn't help.
  14. This is an example of when having a child is handy. My boys can see the hole thingy for the usb in the dark. Oh to have young eyes again!
  15. Me either. If I sit with it long enough, it puts me to sleep. Sounds like a busy evening. Motivating me to get moving. If you eat it right away, you don't have to share!
  16. I wish I could have the GI tract of my mixed terrier that we had as a kid. He could & often did eat anything! He never got sick or slowed down.
  17. OMG! I think you have changed my life! (Maybe a little exaggeration). I didn't know these papers existed. That is the exact thing I need. I loved veggies & dressing, maybe left over rice or stir fry in a tortilla. Fruit with a little cream cheese to stick it together. Yeah!
  18. Sounds like your not going for a name that evokes a wholesome mom & apple pie vibe? Perhaps something a little sexier?
  19. I'll buy it! Can I get it autographed? Will you be using Russell as your "nom de plume?" (did I use that fancy French sounding phrase right?) Yes, I keep forgetting either what I want to say or who I'm saying it to. Do your eyes close when you put on lipstick? The things we women must do for beauty.
  20. And they charged you $120 to fix it?
  21. Does she know you drew them on? They may be preparing a bed for you in the "special" wing.
  22. What comes later? Toxic waste? "parking in the rear"
  23. Was it her daily show or a Food Network show? Maybe you can let us know & we all send a note that Farro is not gluten free & not appropriate for people with wheat/gluten issues.
  24. I have nail issues too. I know that many are caused by lack of vitamins. Also, thyroid can affect them. When I was teen & had a thyroid infection my nails grew fast & so thick I could barely cut them. Then I got cured. mine are getting better now that I'm getting my vitamin levels back up after going gluten-free. I also have spelling issues ...
