  1. I think I will email them. I'm planning on sending in a picture and get some experienced help choosing makeup, lol! I just checked the tracking on USPS and it said the item was delivered to my house so it might be sitting in my mailbox right now. Going out in a bit for my son's winter concert so I'll check then. I hope it's here...
  2. Well, I'm a little discouraged. Still have NOT received anything yet. I checked the website for a whole week and the order said packed, it was finally shipped Tuesday evening (Dec. 11th.) and I ordered it the previous Tuesday (Dec. 5th). It took a whole week to pack it! With all the fast deliveries most of you got, I think they must have been out of something...

    ARCHIVED Gray Hair

Oh my, yes! I've only been gluten-free 4 1/2 months and I have new hair growth sprouting on my head that is NOT gray. Usually the new ones are all wirey and white, but now there are dark ones coming in. I thought it was my imagination, LOL! I also started using John Freida shampoo, cream rinse and glaze and those seem to be lightening up the rest of...
  4. I just checked in to see if anyone received their samples. I wonder if mine are in some other city too, lol, I ordered last Wednesday so mine are very over due. Yes, it feels like forever I was hoping to get them before the discount expired so I could get those other freebies they were offering. Let us know how you like them Mango04!
  5. Hello, B: 4 homemade pancakes and 1/2 sausage L: 4 homemade pancakes and 1/2 sausage S: Yogurt and 1/4 cup mixed nuts D: Vegetable beef stew, homemade corn muffin Been baking and cooking and decorating all day. Hope everyone is having a great day!
  6. Hello everyone, littled - jalopeno poppers? YUMMY Are they gluten free? I really miss having those and would love to find a gluten free substitute. Congrats on losing weight. Sounds like your doing really well. Good for you! fajitas, I know how it is to accumulate so much stuff. My basement is like that from my father in laws house. I could throw it...
  7. So glad to hear you love it! Seems to be great makeup. Is it hard to apply the concealer wet? How do you mix it?
  8. It's scary, isn't it? I don't buy anything out of deli cases. The meats and cheeses could get contaminated on the slicer or from the employees' gloves. The pre-made salads could get cross contaminated from them scooping out the salads and dropping some into a gluten free pan or from spilling over just as you mentioned or even from them doing a quick stir...
  9. Thanks, I think Pamelas and Bob's mixes are at my local grocery. I might have to resort to trying them. I was hoping to have success with a home made recipe from scratch but so far that's not happening.
  10. Hello, I used a gluten-free flour mix from Connie Sarros' book and made chocolate chip cookies from the Toll House recipe. They were excellent. Used the same mix for pancakes for a recipe from a low fat cookbook and Blech! Are pancake/waffle mixed less forgiving? I'd really love to have good pancakes, but twice I've tried them and they turned...
  11. Let us know how you make out. I think I ordered samples that will be on the dark side too. I emailed the company and asked them if I could send a picture and they could help me select the best shades and colors for my skin and they said YES! I think that's what I'm going to do before I place my big order. Being able to send a picture will be a huge help...
  12. Yes, but they will be looking for other things with the stool sample and she can explain that it's her time of month. I had to give a urine sample when I went in and it was that time of the month. They knew that's why the blood was there, but still checked it for other things. I think it's more important to be seen right away given her symptoms then wait...
  13. Yes, I was wondering the same thing. As much pain as your in, you shouldn't wait to get to the doctor. They can still take your stool sample and examine you and do whatever needs to be done even if you have your menstrual cycle. Please get yourself to another doctor right away. Hope you get relief soon.
  14. Sometimes getting out the Christmas decorations can trigger and allergy problem that can lead to an infection. Do you have a live tree? Good luck at the Dr., hope you get some breathing relief soon.
  15. Thank you Mango04, that sounds easy enough to do. Ok ladies, anyone get their samples? Tried them? We'd love to hear about it!
  16. I always had allergies every Spring and Fall would get an infection in my chest kicked off by allergy season. Most of the time I would have to get antibiotics for it to go away and could not fight it on my own. 3 years ago it turned into pneumonia. This passed Fall was the first season for me since gluten free and I only had a sniffly cold that lasted 10...
  17. The eyeliner is under matte finish in the eye colors section. Theres black and grey, but the way I understand it you could use any of those colors for eye liners. It also took me a while to figure out foundations...still don't know if I am right. I might have picked colors too dark.
  18. I'm a little confused about mixing of the makeups. Can any of them (meaning eye colors, blush, etc.) be mixed together to create different shades that can be used as eye, lip, or blush colors? If so, how can you go wrong? You can always use colors up by mixing them with something darker or lighter, right? And how do you mix the dry colors with...
  19. I used to use those gloves every day. I'd come home with itchy eyes and nose and lips. I never figured out the cause was and never connected it to celiac. I thought it was just talc or some kind of powder in the gloves.
  20. I'm so glad you brought this up Mango04. I checked out their website and their makeup looks great. I've been looking for something talc and gluten and fragrance free. Everyday Minerals has so little ingredents listed, I love it already. Ordering now samples and a few other things now.
  21. Hey Everyone, I'm am soooooo off track, have no exercise routine right now and am crazy busy. Just took my Girl Scout Troop of 11 girls camping in a cabin over the weekend. It was so much fun and so nice to get away from my house right now with all the holiday rush and decorating going on. Glad to see some of you still making progress. Donna, you...
  22. How do you know which of their products are gluten free?
  23. Check out Recipe Zaar. There are a couple recipes there!
  24. Hey all, I'm 4 months gluten free. I noticed that things tasted much better soon after I changed my diet. What is strange is that I quit drinking coffee 2 weeks ago and decided to try it a couple times the past couple days to see how I would react. It tastes TERRIBLE! I used to love the taste of coffee and I haven't changed brands or the way I make it...
  25. Hi Paula, I just wanted you to know that I am so sorry for all you are going through. We had a similar situation when my husbands Dad died 3 years ago. The hospice nurse told us it was so common for families to have big problems and become bitter over the death of a family member. It's sad, but so true. My husbands brother and his wife stopped speaking...
