ARCHIVED Who Else Takes...
jenvan replied to num1habsfan's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I took Zelnorm for a while. I am not a huge fan of it. For most folks I've talked to, it just gives you D. Have you tried psyllium/fiber supplements? I would exhaust the more natural options first, if you haven't. Psyllium works better for me than Zelnorm ever did... -

I totally understand, I've had this happen to me many times. But, its best that we don't get too upset, because then we are only hurting ourselves. And this won't be the last time, unfortunately. For some people, its simply being ignorant of the situation...and I think we've probably all had a moment of ignorance in some form. That being said, it does...

Good Lord. Let's "re-engineer" plants so they can better handle our harmful chemicals. This makes me frustrated for a myriad of reasons too. If it burns you too , join a group to work for awareness and lobbying against this sort of thing...

Ok, just wanted to reiterate on the whole iron-RLS connection. I just read this research below: Recently, several research teams have taken a closer look at what might cause primary RLS. In particular, recent studies at Johns Hopkins and Pennsylvania State Colleges have found evidence for brain iron deficiency as a cause for primary RLS. This was first... -
Yeah, there are quite a few of us here who aren't the biggest fans of the magazine. Hmm. Well, the magazine is for all types of food allergies, so I would say most of the recipes would be easy for you to make soy free if they aren't already. All the recipes are gluten-free and most are cf. But the instructions usually talk about substituting ingredients...

jenvan replied to jenvan's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
I actually don't take anything now. Just birth control and allergy meds. I have thought that I probably don't get to all those levels. Yes--lots of dreams, pretty much every night, vivid and I usually remember most of them. Gives me this feeling that when I wake up in the morning, I feel like I was "working" all night in my sleep. Just thought of... -
