  1. I have Clan Thompson software on my treo and love it. Who's going to take a binder to the store with them? And often times I just need to ck on a few things. It comes in very handy when I am getting something that isn't a regular purchase, and it brings piece of mind just to be sure on some products. It is also updated several times a year. I do recommend...
  2. 8 feet! The most I've ever experienced was when I was moving from PA to IN...We got something between 3 and 4 ft. My dh is dying for a huge snow ever since he got his jeep--he sees himself scaling 7 foot walls of snow in it and pulling out people with "regular" cars Shirley-- If you ever have digital images of your land I'd love to see them sometime...
  3. Makeup, yes... Where you want to draw the line is up to you I guess... But for myself, I decided I wanted NO products in my life with any gluten in them. Lipstick etc. are a must--you ingest those. I also definitely say to switch out your soaps, shampoos, lotions... Your mascara isn't probably such a worry...but better safe than sorry I know it can...
  4. Good for you getting rid of the 'bad' products. I've given bags of products away to friends this year! At the bottom of this post I've put directions for getting the Delphi list. Also--if you are looking for products to switch too, you can read this recent post on just about all the products I use now. Open Original Shared Link Hairspray--I use Giovanni...
  5. Nothing more for me to add... Just wanted to say that reading this thread makes me wish I would have won the lottery rather than that person in Oregon, so I could have given it to Celiac research....
  6. Thanks Misa...I couldn't remember and knew it would be a while before I had time to look through the thread
  7. Susan- Don't you hate it when you don't hear back from companies. I've gotten so that if a company doesn't respond or gives me a shady response, I move on to another brand. ...(still transitioning)...
  8. Before I was diagnosed I could eat a bowl of pasta and not notice any immediate gastro issues...so symptoms or reactions aren't always a good judge...
  9. Wow-environmental science... I guess she has a natural advantage! I am curious how the lifestyle choice has impacted them financially--have they discussed that at all? It is easier or harder on a single income and home-growing? Not only do I get satisfaction from working with my hands/outside etc, I think there is an integrity to doing your own natural...
  10. That's great--let me know what you find! When I got my intolerance test back I was shocked! For now I just keep away from the dairy.

  13. Let me know if this has already been done in this thread (I can't remember!)... But could each of you ladies jot down a quick menu of what you eat for a day--to get some ideas? Thanks
  14. Lynne and Shirley- Ah--I love hearing these stories too I can't imagine my life will ever permit me to live like you have Shirley--but I would love to try sometime. I find such satisfaction in working with my hands. ie. growing veggies in my garden, canning them, using them throughout the year and giving some away as gifts. I would love to try and...

bleh... i thought i had heard they had woks in the back for food allergies, but not sure about that... thnx girl...
  25. i was also going to comment on O being the most common, so the theory of most people with celiac disease having O, b/c of the blood type itself wouldn't really be an accurate assumption...
