  1. Has anyone eaten successfully at Mongolian BBQ? I will be out of town this weekend and didn't want to eat PF Chang's for 3 meals I thought I would bring my own sauce, do the allergy/grill clean off?? Any experience?
  2. are the red dots really tiny? and spaced out over the body? if they are, i have those--they are some type of blood vessel under the skin thing--nothing to worry about. or are they more like dh pimples?
  3. nice-thanks! Dr. Kelly seems like a good one...
  4. I wonder if your feeling sick is related to anxiety--that the smell of bread, reminding you of gluten is making you a bit anxious and keeping your system on edge...
  5. i love the clan thompson. it is updated a few times a year. i do use it in my palm and it has helped me out in the store many times. having it at home on the pc would work well too--you could just look up specific things before you went shopping.
  6. danijela- oh no! you definitely need to be going more often!! i totally disagree when doctors say 'everyone is different and some people only go every few days.' not true! our bodies weren't designed that way. i would definitely evaluate your diet, make sure you aren't continuing to get gluten. (are you gluten-free?) my constipation vastly improved...
  7. I had never seen this thread before...and am glad I am catching it now. Welcome back Bessie! I can relate to you ladies here. What a hard issue... I was anorexic for several years (long time ago). I got down to 85 lbs at 5' 4''. I was blessed, unlike many to just 'snap out of it' for some reason...and have never been able to bring myself to that again...
  8. perhaps you are having some vertigo issues. i had those for a while after having a middle ear infection. my mom has off and on chronic vertigo issues. the drs told her there isn't much they can do for it. she takes antrovert when she has an attack...
  9. That type of pain almost sounds like severe gas to me--when it is traveling through your intestines. Could it just be a combination of food you've eaten or something you had to drink?
  10. Man, i'm confused...i swear i just posted here, but it didn't show up! anyway, i was going to recommend shelton's soups too. they are labeled gluten-free. i love their chicken tortilla--good!
  11. i just have to share what i did last night... this is my 3-fold squirrel deterrent plan, based on what i've read. we'll see if it works!!! i first washed the pumpkins down in bleach water, then i coated the outside of each in tabasco sauce, then sprinkled black and cayenne pepper on top of that and around the pumpkins. if that doesn't keep them away...
  12. berneses- i wish you were doing better girl! vomiting is one thing i've never had... just want you to know i'm totally on board with the Bernese Mountain Dog Center for People Who Can't Digest Good. i officially volunteer
  13. I just got a potential job lead...but similar to some of you, the idea of going full-bore into that stress and extra hours is a bit worrisome. It is hard to be motivated at times....
  14. congrats! it can definitely take some practice. the first time i tried to make a yeast bread i was so furious when it fell !!!
  15. shelton's makes some great soups. they have all natural chicken products. i love their tortilla chicken soup. they say gluten-free on the can.
  16. i was thinking of the breast cancer campaign recently. it is everywhere! if we could get a similar campaign going.... you can buy designer jeans, post-its, jewelery, cds, food--all that is pink and splits proceeds with bc research.
  17. definitely sounds like your husband's family does have the right idea!
  18. WOW! I agree with what's been said here before. That woman is the biggest "B" I have heard of in a long time! With cookouts, dinner parties etc, we check on what is being served, and based on that info, bring our own food etc. I think you weren't rude in what you said. If you're daugther isn't welcome there, and the other kids are, then you shouldn...

    ARCHIVED Panera Bread

yikes...yeah, i wouldn't eat there anymore either. any type of bakery place i won't eat at now... ambient flour, crumbs etc...
  20. i take ortho tri-cycline. i take a generic for it now....can't remember that name. as i mentioned i'm switching to nuvaring...since it not absorbed via digestive system and since it is a 1/3 of the hormones...only have to worry about it every 3 weeks...
  21. constipation, brain fog, severe fatigue, muscle pain --can last for a few days or two weeks, depending...
  22. BB-- Try and be patient and give yourself time to heal. There are many here to struggle to work full-time or who have had to quit. And there are others who have recovered and work harder than ever! The biggest thing that has helped me be able to work full-time and get throw those days is to simplify my life outside of work. Which means for example, not...
  23. julie- its nice your doctor is willing to experiment with you. my doc put me on bc due to the cysts about 11 years ago. and i'm only 26 now... my sense is they will eventually come back after i go off...but we'll see. not willing to risk a pregnancy anytime soon. however, i am switching to the nuvaring next month so at least i'll be getting less hormones...
  24. I cook the quinoa beforehand as on the package with spices or in broth...and then I add it to the soup at the last minute...just before serving. Helps bulk it up...I don't think its weird at all...really good. Has a rice like texture--soft, but not mushy.
  25. i used to love those cow tails glad you aren't sick!
