  2. I had hot dogs and baked beans last night for supper. I have been sooooo hungry for hot dogs but have been avoiding them because of the paprika. I can tell there was some in them but not to bad of a reaction this morning. I am such a risk taker
  3. Can you consider that beer (gluten) gave you your diagnosis. Unless your beer was gluten free ,your body was reacting to the gluten not the alcohol
  4. If you are super sensitive avoiding gluten free mixes and pre-made gluten free products entirely may be your best option .Even though "gluten free" those product can have a low measure of gluten. Sticking with just whole food for awhile may help. Hope you find the culprit soon.
  5. My neuropathy is also on my left side of my body, but my most of my neurological symptoms are from soy .My gluten reaction is mostly digestive. Being gluten free really does get easier . We do become PRO's at it

  13. Yes , it does get better I felt sooooo much better after going gluten free but it was not until I eliminated additional intolerances ( for me it was soy and nightshades ) and 2 unknown allergys (eggs and almonds) that my body finally started to recover and heal.
  14. I currently work day shift. I recently bid on a job . The job is somewhat the same as I am currently doing with some training and supervisory tasks added. 17. I dont remember any thing of the procedure either. I remember being in the procedure room, telling the nurse I "felt funny" she said it was the meds they were giving me. The next thing I remember I was in recovery with the Doc talking to me telling me how things went. I vaguely remembered what he said and had to ask the nurse to read me the report the...
  18. I agree but then there would not be any money in it for the pharmaceutical companys would there. The treatment for celiacs is a gluten free diet, the pharmaceutical companies can not make money off of that so, IMHO, celiacs does NOT get their support(money for research, better testing ,awareness campaigns,ect... ), instead they opt for something they can...

  24. If you are planing on being tested for celiac's (blood test or endoscopy) wait to go gluten free until all your testing is completed. There are some of us in these forums that have had/have issues with ataxia that have had good results with going gluten free . Have you seen a neurologist or had any other testing done??
