  6. I didn't go gluten-free to loose weight per se ...it was just one of the pleasant side effects that happened!(Although is that because it keeps me away from junk and processed food?)   7. My hubby has celiac disease and has no known relatives with it or even symptoms. One of our son's has recently been dx (we have 3) One has had a neg blood test (no symptoms) One is anaemic and symptomatic and we are waiting on blood results.

Jerry, I understand that the ramifications to having an official diagnosis of celiac disease in the US is different (I'm in the UK- we have the NHS- free health care ,imperfections 'an all) If you were in the UK I would advise you to get back on gluten and go the 'medically accepted' route.   16. My hubby had psoriasis before going gluten-free...it completely disappeared after going gluten-free. I've had eczema all my life and although I'm not a coeliac I went gluten-free as hubby + 1 son are coeliacs.My eczema greatly improved when I went gluten-free. Hmmmm,- not sure I understand why though!!

  19. What a great idea!!! I'm there with bells on for Patti - she's a dear friend. I am sending her BIG get well thoughts and prayers today - may she have a speedy recovery and I hope she get's home soon. ..and may her hubby get very aquainted with the vacuum, oven, dishwasher..etc so she can rest up and get back to us asap!!

  25. Hi Tanya - wow you have been busy!! I am sorry to hear about your Dad - hope he's recovering ok - my Mum had a stroke a couple of years ago. Megan sounds like she's comimg on in leaps and bounds!! Will be thinking of you for the stent op. Happy New Year to you all and keep us updated
