WHAT?? Probiotics cannot "work against" you, hon. That's crazy. They are naturally occurring organisms in your body. Why would he say that? Read this please. Open Original Shared Link Try taking a small dose for a few days and work your way up? Try a different brand, like the Culturelle DF ? Skip every other day and see if they sit better... -

I had a great visual of that, Bubba  I doubt the bubble gum will kill them, hon. Hubs says "they have to go" when we see them. I do not like shooting any animals unless they are injured or rabid or endangering my pets. I even shooed a bear away and never fired a shot. But trapping them and putting them elsewhere just makes these guys... -

IrishHeart replied to Scott Adams's topic in Publications & Publicity
Sure kept me from being diagnosed. My doctor failed to biopsy me when he did an endoscopy back in April 2009 and declared me "anorexic" with some "gut irritation" and prescribed Ensure and 3 other meds for a severely burning gut. None of that helped at all. (anorexia? huh? I had been overweight for years!) Finally DXed 21 months later, after I... -

Yes, hon, sadly, I took a long time to heal before I felt well. But everyone is different and healing times vary. Just hang in there. Drink a lot of water and try taking out dairy for a few weeks. -

No, it isn't and I was not emotional at all. How is my answer "emotional"?? It's a valid question and I just gave you a valid answer. As best as researchers can determine, there is still damage done when a celiac takes in gluten. How can any study be exact? You would have to have people in the study group being 100% compliant --and how is... -

Your cholesterol level is very high for a young, athletic person on a pretty good diet. Doctor are not very quick to suggest celiac or a gluten free diet for GI distress for reasons none of US on here can quite understand. Many of us heard "IBS" and do you know what we say it means? It means the doc is thinking: I Be Stumped There is... -

Could not swallow, gagging on foods, my mouth, tongue, throat swollen and BURNING, my jaw and face in pain, eyes swollen, dry and itchy and my face just throbbed. My ears rung constantly. My chest, ribs, and lungs hurt, If felt like someone was stabbing me in the chest and in my sternum. The gripping pain spread... -

Actually, there are MANY studies of people on a gluten-free diet for years who still have villous atrophy (or refractory sprue) upon repeat biopsy. here is just one: https://www.celiac.com/articles/710/1/Refractory-Sprue-by-Michelle-Melin-Rogovin-University-of-Chicago-Celiac-Disease-Program/Page1.html "In a recent study of patients with "unresponsive... -

Meatie, OMG! so funny. Tell your son, T. that all I can think of is the 3 Stooges when they ate baloney sandwiches with whipped cream. My brother made us try that once. ( and yes, I watched those idiots when I was kid ) and still do occasionally as an adult. Who doesn't love a good slap fest? -

I also liked potato chips inside my tuna salad sammies. I just remembered a childhood friend who put grape jelly inside her grilled cheese sammies. I thought that awful, until I tasted it. When fried mozzarella sticks with raspberry dipping sauce became the rage in places like Fridays many years ago, she said to me "sonuva....! someone stole... -

I was having trouble walking and moving. My joints/bones/muscles, tissues, and tendons were deeply impacted. I could not sit, stand, walk or lie down without agonizing pain. Colleen, you should come live here with me in the country for a week and get de-sensitized to all things "creepy". You'd just laugh at those things after a while. I've had to pick up everything from bats to moles to chipmunks to birds and snakes. (And I was born/raised in the city. ) -
