  1. why, yes, I do. I LOVE my mangoes!!!!! try mango and pineapple...yumsters!!!!!!
  2. Hon, the original poster wanted the thread to be about photos showing what DH looks like and the conversation has gone way off topic. In fairness to her, we need to remain on topic. Please search for information in the DH section or converse more with Aerial or other members in private messages. Okay? okay!
  3. ...hmm, if they are frozen, they are like rocks, but if they are fresh, maybe they have super powers and try to jump out of the way of the blades?
  4. I can't. It pairs nicely with a pinot grigio and haricots verts, but Karen won't let me say "haricots verts" anymore. She thinks it's snooty-faced. (even though that's what they are, poopyhead)
  5. Welcome!! and do not be sorry for venting. We get to do that on here. You have every right to squawk a little ---as you have had to deal with so much at such a young age. I cannot imagine how hard it is for you having two AI diseases that require dietary compliance, especially when you do not have an overt reaction to gluten. If anyone would be tempted...
  6. The video Sora posted on this thread is hilarious. "I can smell your peanut butter lies from here."
  7. Girl, that is HILARIOUS!!! "I can smell your peanut butter lies from here." That may be our new "thing" to say.....

    ARCHIVED Hair!

I want to be sure I have the right one. Is it THIS one? with WHOLE FOODS in it? Open Original Shared Link I read the label ingredients and it includes sprouted barley grass and wheat grass. The label says it is "soy, dairy and corn free"-- but not gluten free. Please tell me you are taking some other Dr. Mercola Multivitamin?. He must have...
  9. From your description of those triggers, it could well be a contact allergy and NOT DH. To know if it is DH (and therefore, Celiac Disease) you need to be ingesting gluten and have a biopsy of the area around the lesions. Open Original Shared Link (But that is a separate discussion from the topic of the photo bank. )

    ARCHIVED Hair!

I may give them a whirl. I have tried everything. It looks better than it did when I was so sick, but honestly, it was really quite bad. I stopped looking in the mirror at one point. Made me cry. (Anyone who sees pics of me from that time is appalled and gasps at the sight of me. My mom cried when she saw me--all boney and yucky and balding. I used to be...

    ARCHIVED Hair!

No, you are not lazy at all. You are always so sweet to share all your ideas. (and I am sorry to hear you are not feeling well, hon. I hope you feel better soon!) P.S. I checked this product and it also contains all the amino acids I am already taking, but also has the collagen. I am using HA now, additionally, so when these are done, I will...

    ARCHIVED Hair!

Again, the names of these products may help people who are reading this thread !!Please? Thanks! Do you mean a collagen supplement like hyaluronic acid, for example?
  15. DH takes a while to respond to the gluten free diet. 10 days is not very long, hon. IF it is DH, it takes a LOT longer for the skin manifestation of Celiac to resolve. Dr. Green writes: "DH is very erratic. Since the skin may not be rid of IgA deposits for more than 2 years after starting a gluten-free diet, flare- ups occur without obvious gluten ingestion...

    ARCHIVED Hair!

Well, please share the name of this fab supplement!!! Major hair loss was one of my many horrid symptoms and I still have issues with hair falling out. I have tried many of the ones suggested on here, but they are not doing the trick. It is better, yes, but I want THICKER. I want MORE regrowth. (And before anyone suggests it, nope, it is...
  17. Bunz, is it in the front or back of your head/neck? Try laying on an ice pack. ( Unfortunately, I have to do this frequently and it helps knock down the inflammation.) Then, after you have iced it, heat the back of your neck. It should loosen those muscles up. Hope it helps.
  18. oh, for the love of mike, of course!!! THAT explains MY headache on Thursday. thanks, K. U SO Smaht.
  19. I agree! And yes, I think your positive response to being gluten-free speaks volumes! Keep us posted!
  20. Here's a few more. Apple, kale and Pineapple 2 cups kale (chopped) 2 apples, cored, peeled, and quartered 1 cup pineapple, chunked 1
  21. He did. He said his Mom was mean and wouldn't give him any Kale. seriously, it really is one of the best foods there is. I ate a lot of it when I was folate and calcium deficient (I made kale soup and kale chips, too) and I got used to having it. The bags of it are already cleaned and chopped and I just throw it in a freezer ziplock and grab a...
  22. I tend to share some with hubs. If you put the milk in first, the berries won't gag the blender blades and I do wait a few minutes for them to melt a bit.
  23. In a blender: 8-10 oz. So Delicious coconut milk 5-6 Frozen strawberries 1 cup blueberries 1 banana some mango slices handful of chunked up fresh pineapple (any fruit works really!) 2 handfuls of frozen chopped kale (do not worry, it blends right up) 1 TBLS. ground flax seed a good squirt of agave syrup or honey BLEND...
