    Elderly!? Elderly!?! I'm still insisting that I've still to reach middle age . I agree with Sylvia, age is just a number and to be honest I'm more confident and more at ease with myself now than when I was younger (and that's with the extra 2 stone I'm carrying compared to in my 20s!)

    I tend to stick to the Glutafin products on my prescriptions (prescriptions in Scotland are limited to Juvela and Glutafin, I assume same for all UK). The Glutafin products came in both Gluten Free and Gluten Free/Wheat Free versions. The Gluten Free ones contain gluten free wheat starch. Given your reaction, I would stick to gluten and wheat free versions...

    I am Roman Catholic and all I, and other coeliac members,have to do is go to the priest before mass starts and let him know that we are there and wish to receive communion.     Yep, we celebrate Burns Day. Haggis - Mmmm . Before my diagnosis I had haggis twice a week - once with fillet steak sitting on top and served with a whisky sauce and once as a Sunday bruch served with Stornoway black pudding, lorne sausage and bacon.     For decades my jaw pain was diagnosed as a result of my heart murmur- i now believe it's coeiac disease. I was first aware as of it as a teenager. I'm 54 and diagnosed this year. Huge improvement in heart palpitatiions.

    The overwhelming fatigue and joint aches. I glutened myself with spices on Thursday night. I started to feel an improvement yesterday and thought that I was getting over it but today I'm worse than ever.

    I've just read your post. She is my favourite singer of Burns songs. There are lots of youtube clips of her. She first became famous as the singer of a band called Fairground Attraction in the 80s. Buying my Christmas Tree this weekend, so thought I'd post something festive today
