    I was in the South of France last year and did not have any problems. I bought the Multi-Lingual Phrase Passport For Gluten and Allergy Free (Let's Eat Out) from Amazon.     So here I am extending the thread on how long it takes to toast gluten free bread I made bread yesterday with a different mix than usual. It turned out light and fluffy and when I toasted it last night it toasted to perfection at the first go! My toaster settings go to 6 and I toasted it at 3!     I have no problem with single scotch malt whisky,including Glenfiddich, and coeliac UK state that they are gluten free due to the process. I can highly recommend Highland Park if you like a smooth malt. If you prefer a peaty one, Jura Superstition is good without being overpowering. My daughter went gluten free following her positive blood test and when she went for her endescope they weren't happy that she'd been gluten free for a few weeks.     Welcome to the forum. I understand how overwhelmed you are feeling just now, but Mushroom has given you lots of good advice. Check Josh's farewell post (he's decided to stay) for lots of positive affirmation. I know that it may seem totally insurmountable just now but honestly it will get better. Stick with it.     I use Dermalogica treatment foundation. I contacted them and they sent me a list of their products that were gluten free. They are a skincare company so the treatment foundation is the only make-up they do. For eye-liners and mascara, I use an on-line company,e.l.f cosmetics, who list the ingredients of each product.     Are you currently living in the UK? If so, join coeliac UK and you will receive a free food and drink directory. This not only lists gluten free food/drink but also checks that methods of production etc keeps it free from cross-contamination where gluten products are produced in same factory.
