  1. Yes, that would be the reason.
  2. Still haven't tried it, but since its sweet, wouldn't make a good crust for a sweet pizza?
  3. Try a low fat, no acidic food, no grease, no caffeine diet. That helped me more than anything else.
  4. I'm 2+ years into this. Reading labels has become almost second nature to me. You get used to it.
  5. I've heard that its been recommended for first degree relatives to be tested every year or so to keep an eye out for it.
  6. I didn't have gallstones, rather a painful gallbladder. For me, the pain would isolated and so bad that i couldn't breathe at times. It made stomach cramps, be they gluten related or a stomach virus type, pale in comparison.

  16. Not uncommon at all. Celiac is genetic, yes, but that does not mean that everyone who have the gene(s) will get it. That would cause celiac to occur. Good thing is you caught it when you did. Some go for years without knowing what is causing their issues.
  17. I'd say glutened...
  18. Thats what i'm thinking. Thanks everyone, I'm doing much better today
  19. there is new research suggesting that there may be other genes that can be seen with celiac.
  20. Does anyone experience this? The first one: Earlier today, I had what felt like a charlie horse in my side (just right of my bellybutton and right in the middle of the area where i had my gallbladder surgery). While uncomfortable, when i pressed down on it (around it, in the middle of it), it did not hurt and it felt like just a muscle spasm. I've...
  21. What types are there? ----- Edit: I see only chocolate chip. I would have loved a sugar cookie.
  22. 1. Open Original Shared Link They may have some useful info for you to print out and bring in. 2. I wouldn't. Too risky. 3. as far as i know, there isn't. Perhaps someone can provide more info?
  23. I've used it without issue, as have others. Could you be intolerant to something in it?
