    I've been out without a coat all week. It's been in the low or mid 30s. Sure, some people might think that's crazy, but I think the weather is perfect.

    YAY!!! That's such great news. I'll have a celebratory cup of cocoa for you tonight. (Shhhh... no one tell her I drink it pretty much every night anyway. ) Our deep freezer needs a good thaw, so we're eating everything in it. I fished out a bunch of stuff yesterday. Tonight we're just having burgers and whatever makes me happy to make with them.

    I use Redmond Clay for a lot of things. You must live in Utah if you found it in a local store. It doesn't really cure anything, but it sure helps clear up topical things quickly doesn't it!     I'm not sure why it is doing that and have never had that problem, so sadly I can't offer a solution to fixing the crust. The only thing that sort of pops in my head is maybe it's the type of flour you're using? Some just won't do well for a pie crust. I do have a solution though. Grab any old recipe book, I use my old Betty Crocker tome most of the time...

    I'd be pissed off too. It's Christmas and that isn't the attitude I'd want to be greeted with. I'd say so, pack my "s$#&" back in the car and leave in the morning. No one needs to be treated that way. There is no reason you can't be somewhere else for Christmas.

    I would love to not have to shave my legs anymore! Of course, not living where it's warm and it being winter I don't have to right now anyway and the only person who will know is my husband. We all know the consequence of him complaining so I hear nothing about it.

    I try to be aware of the policy companies have. Frito Lay for instance has policies clearly disclosed on its website and I make my choices based on that information. Because I have an extreme amount of time on my hands I do actually call most companies that aren't on my "trusted" list, which isn't something I necessarily advocate that others do. That said...

    No, Christmas is not about snow but for me I simply can't imagine living in a place where white Christmases don't happen. I'll survive our winter without running away to FL just like I do every year. I've said it before, but frankly what we get is so mild compared to what I grew up with that it's practically paradise here in the winters to me.
