    My 11 yr old son was dx with dyspraxia a couple of yrs ago due to lack of muscle tone in legs/wobbly gait, clumsy, can't write neatly, speech issues etc but really the only tests they did was catching a ball and walking/standing in certain positions! I've felt for a while now that maybe it could be celiac ataxia (my son also gets a rash on his shoulders...

    I had the Dexa scan and think I was worrying over nothing..apparentely its such a small amount of radiation which we'd normally get in half hour being outside! Anyway, they just scanned my back and hips...just awaiting results now.

Got my Dexa scan tomorrow; just nervous now about the radiation cos over the years ive had a few xrays plus I had radioactive iodine two yrs ago ...does it create a build...

    Hi jhol, Ive joined but like you find its difficult to use and its in need of a forum. The only thing Ive used it for is to try and find a local group so Ill be attending a first meeting at the weekend. They seem pretty friendly on the phone and well organised but really need a forum ..but maybe its me whos not used it properly ! Sorry I have no idea about...

    Hi, I had an incredibly itchy scalp for years and was really embarassed about it. After 5 weeks being gluten free it had almost disappeared then I realised that coffee seemed to trigger odd blisters so Ive cut out coffee for the last 2 weeks and I'm completed itch free . Not sure if coffee was an allergy for me or if it was cross reactive or what it was...

    Last October I had positive blood results for celiac so i went gluten-free for about 3 weeks before been told by a dietician I had to ingest gluten for a gold standard dx with biopsy. I had an awful time with gluten and then was supposed to have biopsy on 4th jan but unfortunately i couldnt tolerate the procedure even with sedation as I suffer severe anxiety...
