  2. hey, I'm veggie too and having all the same problems...just so unsure which intolerances/allergies I have but know I've got to cut dairy out for sure which is a pain! I can't normally have corn either but seem ok on the Holland & Barrett mega potency Probiotic Acidophilus (3 billion) its No starch, milk, lactose, soya, gluten, wheat, yeast, fish...

  6. I echo what pegleg84 is saying. I suffer too with sinus issues. I have a definite problem with dairy (eggs, cheese and milk) but think the worst culprit for my sinus issues is soy and quorn which is strange as I used to have it daily ...like an addiction, but i have to stay away from it
  7. You could try looking at your diet....ie, have a few seeds sprinkled on your cereal... almonds for zinc, pumpkin and sunflower seeds for EFAs and a good b-complex vitamin and warm water with lemon juice.
  8. Hi flowerqueen, Although I'm a free member (think i only got 4 months free) I can't say Ive used them apart from getting in touch with the local sheffield group. Ive found this site so good, quick and supportive so maybe i've just not given coeliac uk a chance yet.

  12. I prefer Henderson's relish..really nice in bolognese etc. Unfortunately its just in the uk (can be ordered via website and even has recipe if you want to make it yourself). Doesnt contain anchovies and is gluten free/suitable for veggies.

  22. Well I've been invited to my friends 50th party in May and it'll be at Butlins (holiday camp) 80's party weekend .... kid free.... yeh !!!! (i love him really!) So, has anyone any ideas what I can go as? I really don't have a clue but want it to be comfortable so I can dance and go mad to the 80s bands without getting too warm. Help!!! ???
  23. thanks Takala, I didnt realise Chia was so versatile. Can you eat them like flax..mixed into cereal etc or do they have to be soaked? And how have they benefited you?
  24. I've been taking flaxseed mixed into my morning cereal or smoothie for a couple of weeks and my tummy has really felt alot calmer (although still bloated ). Just wondering if anyone has tried Chia seeds and can let me know if you've benefitted or not / or how you find flaxseed? ..I've only been having a small amount of flaxseeds but wonder if you can...
  25. hiya funkflex, well I've been having flaxseed for the past couple of weeks and my tummy has felt relatively calm so i'm presuming thats the reason. Apart from Omega 3, 6 and b vits, it also contains magnesium which apparentely is good for constipation Open Original Shared Link .
