humm...as I recall, Jimmy Dean and Johnsonville (except beer& Brats) are gluten free.

I do know that Lexapro is gluten free.
Lipsticks are tricky and have lables that are almost impossible to read. Alot of Mac Lipsticks are gluten free and some Clinique
If you google their sites, they will give you their products lists.
Also Burts Bee's lipsticks and glosses are gluten free.

You bet!!!!!

BUMP..................(Armetta made me do it
)
Rusla, feel better soon.

I am always concerned about bacteria. In order to cook the stuffing to a safe temperature, I find that the turkey gets too dry. Although, it's been done for years, I prefer to cook the stuffing separately.
...just my thoughts.

I am so amazed at your post. How did you know so much about ME!!!

man I'm having a craving for bearclaws of all things (ya know those donuts shaped like a paw) all frosted and gooey... why does this have to be so hard sometimes.
Shesssh.... nini, I thought you were going to nail someone with bear claws. LOL, much relieved.
(but I wanted to watch)
.......sorry, one of those yucky things before dx's.

You know, sometimes I think about just this.
As we struggle to find foods that will keep up health, maintain a home, or a business and working shop and cook, guard celiac disease children, it can be all so consuming.
At least for me, sometimes I don't address the food needs of my no-gluten free husband. But he is really good about eating everything that I cook, and says that the meals are much better than before. Better than any restaurant that we can go to. Before dx's, I would always ask him what he would like for dinner (board with the same and asking for suggestions) and he would always say "spaghetti". Lucky for me, I never did like pasta, but I made him spaghetti and good homemade sauce. Now the poor man never gets any. I hate the gluten free pasta (as never liked the real ones) and I can't taste to check if el donte (sp).
We need to give our un-celiac spouses a pat on the back, at least mine, for support. Remind me to do that.
Celiac has to be a quick learning process, sometimes it's hard to lead the charge, and sometimes you look back and no one is following.

That's cool Lister, thanks for posting that. It looks like your getting into the swing of it all.

Sorry that you got sick.
Sometimes, when I am feeling well, I have to police myself because I seen to get a little laxed...
like telling myself that a product can not possible contain gluten, without reading the labels or making a call to verify.
It takes constant vigilance.

has anything like phycosis or phycotic thinking ever been a symptom of gluten intolerance?
Depression is a biggie!

I use Cranraisins in chicken salad and broccoli salad with no issue. The Cran-train mix may be a problem.

I was informed that corn starch can have gluten in it. Same as spices they use it to keep it from clumping. I was told that the Argo brand corn starch is ok.
The best source, is the information listed on the ingredient label.
Pulled out of the pantry is Rumford, Naturals Corn Starch, lists........"made from genetically modified corn."
By law, if wheat is in the caking agent it is required to list it as "wheat". I find it unlikely that corn starch would have an anti-caking ingredient.
I hope this was helpful.

Corn starch is safe. It is gluten free. If you have a problem with corn as some do, then it is not.

Hay everyone:
I'm trying to help Armetta and she has sent me some awesome letters. I do not have all of them, but I will to compile the cover letter. A task that I am not sure I am up for........but will ask for your help.
When you submit a letter to her, please add your name, address and contact phone #'s if you feel comfortable doing this. I expect that all letter will need to be verified by the "crew". (If you don't feel good doing that, you can use your "user name on Celiac.com").
I think all submits, Metta, would like to list their names in support of Lynne.
Thanks, Lisa
Is that correct Mouse?

Better yet, send as an attachment in printable copy, so we don't have to retype it. By the way, I don't understand computers and they don't understand me.

Shawn,
My first thought would be thryoid, but you have addressed that.
Other though would be low blood pressure.
Other than that, I have no experience with that.
There are alot of smart people here with a vast amount of experience.

Yeah for you!! Congratulations. A healthy new one in this world and I am happy for you and your family.
I know what it's like with no drugs. My first came in 45 minutes, after four days of false labor. My "wonderful" hubby thought that it was emotional (false labor) and on the third day, the doctor finally said, "give her a glass of red wine", and magically the labor pains stopped (grrrr, could have told me that in the beginning)...so when she came, she came. And she was too fast for drugs, give me drugs........and now she's 25 and smart as a whip, but can't balance a checkbook.........I think they're just born that way, I didn't teach them that.
Congratulations, and I wish you well with your little one.

Swansons Chicken and Beef Broth are gluten free.........Organic is not Gluten Free. It will list wheat.
Hope I got there in time.

Ok, my answer may be confusing. Swansons is gluten free (as above), and if in another form, it will be required to list wheat if included.

I would suggest that you keep a food diary. Just get a notebook with loose leaf paper and write down every thing that you eat. Document how you feel after eating the things that you wrote down and the time of reaction. There may be a pattern here that you may not be aware of.
I hope that you feel better soon and feel always free to ask here.

I never was a bread lover (lucky me!), but the closest that I have found to a roll or a biscuit, is Gillians ,frozen English Muffins. They are not like the regular ones, more like a southern biscuit. Toasted with butter and honey or with some sausage and melted cheese.........pretty darn good.
I can only find then in one place a hour and a half away, and they do not always carry then. But I bet you can direct order.
