Mommagoose, sending some love out to ya!! Isn't it sad that things have gotten to the point where posting is stressful in itself. Let's laugh more, love more, and all get worm hotels, or what ever they are called. (I really want one of those, btw)
Mommagoose, you are loved and valued

I wondered why you kept giving a CYA statement!!!
Carla:
Has that not been obvious to you
. The last two weeks on this site has not been easy for some of us. ....And I sit here for minutes upon minutes to compose the words, so that I don't set off another fire-storm.
You have the answers to your own question.
See, Im smiling. CYA, here.

Hey Lisa, you can create a wormery for YOUR garden. Then you will have some handy. When you want to eat worms - he he.
Hugs
Hey everyone, I am not being mean as Lisa and I have been emailing each other. She knows I am joking.
Armetta:
I noticed that you have a hiatal hernia, me too (large one). Have you ever thought about getting fixed? I know that we share some stomach problems. Just something I'm thinking about.
And about worms, if they are so good breaking down compost, why shouldn't we eat them....might help with celiac symptoms
Nah, just a passing thought.

Very well, I shall have one.
It would be good to have some on hand.

The wormery is an alternative to a compost heap. great for small gardens as it's compact and the worms process very efficiently. Great also for small boys who love the fact that we are recycling our veggie and fruit peelings into worm wee and poo!
Great also for worms, who now have a longer life expectancy as aforementioned small boy preserves them for the wormery rather than stretching any he finds to see how long they'll grow
We made the wormery ourselves (can't afford to buy one). here's the instructions for anyone interested:

Lisa - sorry for hijacking you're thread. i hope this cheers you up some
Well I'll be........learned something new today.

And their home is called a wormery?
Why not a wormitory?
Susie:
What do your worms do?
-
If anyone wants to eat worms, the ones in my wormery are gluten free
Big hugs Lisa

It's okay to not be the same person ... we are supposed to learn and grow from every trial life brings us ... look for the lesson in it ... what has being sick taught you? I may not be the same person, but overall I'm a better person than I was. I have realized that doing is not as important as being.
Carla:
I understand what you are saying and 100% agree, but I was referring to neuro damage caused by malabsorption before and after my dx.
-
I don't know numbers, but I know that I am not the same person I was before I got sick, I'm sorry to say.

package gravy mix is not alway good for us.
7-up and Pepsi are fine.
If your gravey mix is guten free you are one of the lucky ones that can find it in the stores.

Wood working, it has a place in our house.
My husband, retired, makes humidors and various boxes and sells them. Some bring him attic flooring and ask that he make boxes out of the home wood., for their children .
Wish I had your translation earlier, I could have used it.
Please keep me laughing.
You are soooo funny.

Hey guys and girls:
As many may have noticed, I am a constant lurker here. I have not posted much at all (don't want to offend anyone, sheesh). By the way, Steve and I kissed and made up. Guess I'm safe here
You all just crack me up and Richard is the funniest, whitiest guy around. I just love to read his posts. The construction worker with the thongs had me laughing all day and his presentation....all too perfect.
Has anyone asked him what his user name means, or if obvious and I don't get it, or has it been asked before.
Thanks for entertaining me.

Karen,
I think it will be ok. But, I have found that cooked meats don't freeze well. Bateria wise, I don't think 3 days in the refer would be a problem.

I do know that one of the many symptoms of Celiac is loss of padding on the butt and feet. That's me. When I am on my feet all day, my legs ache like crazy.

Karen:
My bet is that the medication is effecting her taste buds, I have heard, where I don't know, that it is possible.
In addition to the fact that she was in pain soooo long, she is probably afraid to eat.
If it does continue, I would call her GP on Monday and ask.
Hope she feels better soon.
Hugs back, L
