Every time I see a new product, I am thankful for the great advances in research, awareness and product availability.   9. Some people report that they are more sensitive to gluten, once they are on the diet for a while. It's not unusual at all. Dairy can mimic some of the same symptoms as gluten, but once the villi heal in your intestines, dairy can often be reintroduced without issue. Keeping a food diary can help you pinpoint a problem.

    Every available test, requires gluten to be active in your system. It's clear that you have a gluten sensitivity at some level. But, if you have have digestive difficulties in the past, it might be wise to visit a doctor. You can google Celiac Sprue Association and find some local support group in your area and medical recommendations.

  19. Yeah, sometimes we forget that we have an international membership. In the US, most hotdogs are gluten free.

  23. If dairy doesn't bother you, there is reason to limit it. "May contain a trace..." can often be a disclaimer. Give it a try and see how you feel. That's often a personal choice based on experience. Don't forget to think of your local Food Bank when you're getting rid of those gluten foods. Someone is always hungry.
