  3. That was a very good response. I also have a large hernia which often casues alot of acid. The diet cannot cure that, only through surgery. Try taking a pepsid in the morning and one at night and see if will subside your symptoms. If not, go to a blander diet with less spices. Maybe that will help. Lisa

Some people feel that they need a diog. to know what they have, but if you feel better with the gluten-free diet, well, just continue on. You will be either wheat intollerant or gluten intollerant.   6. I don't have it in my house, so I can't check the ingredence. Read what it contains..if it is not wheat, barley, rye , malt and maybe oat. .....it's ok. Once you know what to look for, life in Celiacland gets alot easier. You learn to read lables and know what product will lable well. It does become easier with time. Hope this was helpful - Lisa...

  8. B: I started early peri-med when I was 35 and that lasted about 10 years and then every thing stoppped. Hot flasheds, breast tenderness, -itchness and then my period slowed down to nothing and eventually stopped. Now at 51, I cant remember a period in six years or so. I have always heard that if you started late, you will stop early. I don't know...

  13. I had the same effect after eating oysters out of season. I had terrible cramps and a fever and I bit the head off of anyone who talked to me.   15. When I find something that I know is gluten free, I buy two. Use one and you have another. I also put a green sticky dot on what I know is safe. It helps my family know not to double dip into the peanut butter cause they know that mom eats it too.

  18. I started peri-metapause when I was in my mid 30's and now well done with a cycle.
