    Even though the fries have tested in a clinical labortory to be gluten-free I have never eaten them. Why? Because they were not made in a lab. They were made by teenagers who have no clue about cc. I am just too scared to eat the fries When we go I only get a coke and the apple dippers with carmel, they are very good!     I understand not wanting this disease to be your identity. It is hard when it is a part of who you are and it alters how you live your life. The key for me is that it is part of who I am but not what I am. I am so much more than this disease. Maybe try just taking it day by day for awhile and not worry about the larger picture until your feeling better...

    I eat their rice cakes all the time. The have never been chewy. I would take that one back to the store you bought it from. As far as the rice cake tasting like the bag, never experienced that. However, I never eat the rice cake plain, I always have somethilng on it. Hez

    The endoscopy isn't too bad. The worst part for me was getting over the drugs they give you. Plus I had "d" and a lot of gas the next day. Although I had "d" all the time so that probably was not related to the procedure. Good luck! Hez

    I highly reccomend talking to your doctor and doing research before trying oats. Then I would only eat the gluten-free oats from either the Canadaian (cream hill estate?) or Wyoming (glutenfreeoats.com) people. I eat the gluten-free oats from Wyoming and have not had a problem. Hez

    I ordered from them shortly after I was diagnosed over a year ago. I ordered the gluten-free graham crackers. I really did not care for them. However, the gluten-free thing was so new that I did not like most gluten-free products. So, not sure if you should give much weight to my opinion. Hez

    It is not okay. The oil is contaminated with the gluten foods. You need to have a dedicated fryer to ensure safe food. Hez

    My understanding of refractory sprue is that this is celiac disease that is NOT helped by the gluten-free diet. You can be gluten-free and not get any better, still have gi symptoms. This is a rare condition. Hopefully, someone will chime in and give a better explaination. Hez

    I'm sorry I just didn't want anyone to get sick. All dairy queens are owned and operated differently. Talk to the manager. Who knows, if it's not busy they maybe able to clean it! Hez

    This just points to how different the same restaurant came be in another place! I phoned my Macaroni grill and spoke with the manager who told me there was nothing I could eat there. He claimed everything came marinated and could not even think about the cc issue. I am so glad you had a great experience! Hez
