  1. Kraft jam will state any wheat on their label.
  2. I eat the Original and now I also eat the delicious Extra Spicy Mrs Dash. Yummy and not sick.
  3. Some cheap brands (no name brands) are processed on the same lines as wheat products, so they have a cc disclaimer on the package.
  4. I went there today and it was a fundraiser for their "cycling for celiac" event. The pancakes tasted very good. But you are right about your allergies, it probably would have been a problem.
  5. I started eating the soups and noodle carts again and I've been feeling great.
  6. Just curious. Is there a list of Ben & Jerry's gluten-free flavours?
  7. I take it you are in Edmonton or close to it. It starts at 9:00.
  8. I'm just so happy about this, I had to post it. I've been away for awhile so I'm sorry if this has already been posted.
  9. Fine, I'll have to believe you guys that it is gluten-free. But I'm not too willing to try it again. It could have been typical bar drink cc.
  10. And the fact that the ingredients are a secret. They will only divulge some of the herbs and spices.
  11. Hey local city dwellers. Kinnikinnick is having their pancake breakfast on Saturday.
  12. I have always washed my rice, but it has got nothing to to with cc or gluten or anything.
  13. I have my own toaster. We have a four slice one, but it is usually covered in gluten crumbs, so I bought my own to be safe. We use stainless steel pans, even though only gluten-free food is cooked in them. I have my own condiments, unless they are in squeeze bottles. I use different cutting boards designated as gluten-free. Pretty much, you get into...
  14. I just wanted to let everyone know that their new labels state gluten-free and/or dairy-free right on them. This is great for Canada, since most of our labels don't have statements about gluten content.
  15. I had a bad reaction to it, and I tried to find out afterwards of it was gluten-free but I couldn't find out for sure.
  16. I don't think Van's are made on dedicated lines. So it could be a cc issue. I had to stop eating them a long time ago.
  17. I use the Paul Mitchell Tea Tree shampoo and conditioner, since I can't use my favorite Aveda products anymore.
  18. Thanks for mentioning this soap. I just bought it and it is awesome. I love that there are only three ingredients. My cats seem to be intrigued by the smell. Nothing wrong with more kitty cuddles.
  19. My hair stopped thinning and grew back to a decent thickness since going gluten-free. I also don't use wheat shampoos or conditioners.
  20. I use St. Ives. They may contain gluten, but I haven't had any problems.
  21. I am in my early thirties and have been gluten-free for just over one year. Initially I felt great until dairy started to bother me so I eliminated it at about four months. Now, after one year I am feeling pretty much like a normal person would feel. I'm not really sure because I've been sick for well over a decade. Give it time and you will see improvements...
  22. Now that I am eating dairy again I can't wait to try these.
  23. I don't hink Alberta has Whole Foods, but maybe at Planet Organic you can find Gluten-free Casein-free hotdogs.
  24. I'm not much of a meat eater currently, but in the past we have made beef or chicken chili, beef or chicken stews, and rouladen (German bacon and pickle stuffed beef basically). You can make any kind of meat in it much quicker than the usual method of cooking. I'll have to dig up some recipes for you. It might be a week or so, since I'm going out of town...
  25. Then we wouldn't have to drink carageenan and other ingredients other than the soy. Cool.
