  4. Before I was diagnosed with Celiac, I also was getting nosebleeds and bruised all over my body - in places I don't remember injuring. Bloodwork showed that my platelets and vitamin K levels were very low. Since I have been gluten free, that problem has gone away.
  5. I just found a peanut sauce mix made by Taste of Thai that says Gluten Free right on the packet. Yesterday I had chicken, rice, broccoli and some of the mix wit gluten-free soy sauce...Yum! Today I had rice noodles and shrimp with the mix!
  6. The "Real Feel" temperature was 107. It is so humid that my glasses steamed up when I got out of the air condidioned car and I couldn't see where I was walking. Cindy

I would not be surprised if he also had celiac disease...

Susie - I'm sorry for your loss.
  18. Radgirl, I know exactly how you feel. I think we have all gone through it. I remember, right after I was diagnosed, sitting in an italian restaurant and ordering a large salad. I had the owner come over to my table with the giant industrial size jar of salad dressing so that I could read the ingredients. After my order was placed I actually sat at...

  20. Mike, Have you had any bloodwork done? While I was waiting for my diagnoses, I also had bruising all over my body. It turned out that my body was suffering from malnourishment and malnutrition. 25. I always make sure that I wash my hands welll after feeding my dog. I stopped feeding her treats (she's too fat and needs to lose weight anyway). My brother's dog likes to have cut up carrot sticks as treats. Then you wouldn't have to worry about the gluten, and it's healthier for dog too! Cindy
