  1. I think the electronic test will be very revealing. All of these things--the electronic testing, Kinesiology, Accupuncture--they are all sort of based on the energy meridians that we all have runnung thru our bodies. The Chinese have been using them for like 4000 years! There is definately something to it--in addition to gluten, I was told to avoid legumes...
  2. I have a serious tick question. Are all of the ticks that carry Lyme tiny--to the point that they're hard to see? I had what I know was a tick on my arm, several years ago--it was black and looked exactly like the pictures--but it was just big enough for me to make out what it was--maybe 1/8 inch or so. I have no idea how long it was there, and brushed...
  3. Thanks Richard--that was vey sweet and thoughtful Lurk here anytime--and of course, feel free to make us laugh--you're a hoot (with a good heart )!
  4. When I'm glutened, all of my depression, anxiety and parinoia comes back. These are harder to deal with, for me, than the physical things. I didn't realize how bad it was prior to diagnosis--until it bagan to get better. There are others in my family who suffer from depression--they are not diagnosed, as far as I know, but all the signs are there.
  5. I agree with Tiffany on this--buying from the registry will insure that the gift will be wanted and used. They will think of you everytime! I also would do a personal little gift for them, something meaningful
  6. Laura--This is such GREAT news!!!! Hi Judy
  7. Hey Lisa--I'm just seeing this this morning! Glad to hear it was "only" a bump in the road, and that you kept your worm consumption to one Feel better--love ya
  8. I've never been able to drink coffee. It smells so good, though
  9. Donna & Rachel--That is very interesting. I wonder if it is anything like Kinesiology, in that it can test to see if something is good/bad for you--and to what degree. For instance, I brought in some fur from my cat, and was found to be allergic. I brought some non-organic almonds in that were giving me symptoms, and they were a problem, but some organic...
  10. Lou Rawls=sadly, no longer with us. Abe Vigoda=still with us.
  11. Hi Andrea, Do what you need to do for yourself--everyone understands. Sometimes it's necessary to take a few steps back, and re-think and re-charge. It's good that you have Mitch working with you--things are better when you work as a team! Feel better
  12. Liz and everybody--you can always use email to reach him, if the mailbox is full
  13. So is my husband
  14. I'm a Pisces
  15. Ok, I went back and answered my own question I hope as the day's gone on, it's gotten better, Andrea. It's so sweet that in the middle of it all, you found time to post greetings to all of us Come back and chat when things settle down
  16. Andrea, What's the matter--did I miss something?
  17. Donna--"moon body" good one! Funny what we'll do to feel better
  18. Hi and welcome! Glad you found us Your new doctor is very sensible--and is correct that not enough samples were taken for your biopsy. A positive biopsy can rule this in, but a negative one can not rule it out. Actually, you did see a positive result--it was just short-lived! It is very common for healing to be uneven--especially in the beginning...
  19. The steroids would give me the worst moon face, but it was worth it
  20. Where do you come up with this stuff??? I would have to say my favorite is a tie between Barry White and Barry Manilow--depending what mood I'm in .
  21. I saw the snow this morning on Good Morning America! We're having a nice, sunny mild day today--but it's going to be much colder here by the weekend. No snow, though
  22. What happened to the penguin? I got a kick out of that one
  23. Oh Donna--this is terrible. I think that because I didn't have chronic D at the time (that happened the last year or so before dx), they didn't think it was actually stomach related. I can see that now, of course. Because of all of the antibiotics I took, I'm allergic to all but one strain. My present doctor won't put me on anything unless it's absolutely...
  24. It seems big, because you're not used to it yet. Give it a week, you won't even notice anymore.
