  1. It could be detox--you've been adhering so well to the doctor's orders that it makes sense that you're healing rather quickly. That can definately make you feel worse before it makes you feel better. The Kinesiologist explained it to me like this: picture a ladder where good, balanced health is at the top. Somewhere along the line, you went to a much...
  2. Yea--I'll get Mark to take one
  3. What's the matter, Carla?
  4. Love it!
  5. Thanks The Dave! This is such great news for Rachel
  6. Wow--that was pretty detailed. Anyway, it's gonna be good.....
  7. Hi Susie-- I just pinned your post so it won't dissappear again! Gosh, I'm sorry to hear about you and chocolate Interesting that it dosen't happen so much with the dark--I never liked dark chocolate until I had to give up dairy. Now, I really love it.
  8. This is interesting. I just ordered the Enterolab Gene Test yesterday--I want to see which genes I actually have. I also think that seeing the results will make some of my family members consider being tested.
  9. Yes, I did--but don't get too used to it
  10. I'm dusting off this thread I finally did it--I had my hair professionally straightened this morning!! I was so nervous about it, I was in the bathroom 4 times before I had to leave the house. Ended up taking Immodium, but once I got there I was fine. It looks like my hair has grown an inch and it's also lighter (kind of a "side effect"). ...
  11. Hi Ashley--nice to "meet you"! Thanks for letting us know your mom is ok--I was wondering where she's been.
  12. OMG Rachel--this is so exciting!!! I'm overjoyed for you Get some rest, you deserve it!
  13. Richard-- I know you meant this for Susan, but it was just what I needed to hear today. Someone asked me what I did today, and I felt I had to explain why I don't "work". About 1/2 way through, I was thinking to myself, this is probably more than they really wanted to know! I know it's easier for me because I have a husband who makes enough...
  14. I'm sorry that this is happening to you--sometimes it seems that no matter what we eat and how careful we are, something is going to make us sick! I am like Ursula--I could binge all day on foods that would make me sick and never consume a drop of gluten. Especially when our systems are damaged from gluten, there are many other foods or ingredients...
  15. Yep Susan--remember, you always have us
  16. Hey Grant--congratulations!!! That's great
  17. Yep tonight--be there or be square Good spoilers--Boone!!!!
  18. With my first, it was well during the fourth month. The second, by the third month.
  19. Hi Laura-- I'm getting dinner ready--the guys will be home in a minute but when I saw you posted, I had to see how you did today I can well imagine it's taking a toll on you, but at the same time it must be exhilerating to be back in your "element"! I'm so happy that you were able to work something out with this company--and how wonderful they...
  20. You need nerves of steel for that second one
  21. Sigh...Susan, what are we going to do with you??
  22. Nikki, I would send his lunch in with him to be on the safe side. The school may want to provide a gluten-free meal, but the chance for CC would be high, I'm sure. As Alan eliminates the gluten and become more sensitive to it, it could very well cause the urgent D--how awful that would be to happen to him at school. And like you said, it will be so...
  23. I'm intolerant to grains and tapioca, so I'm really looking forward to these--thanks
  24. Susan, I'm also confused by your lack of reaction. I've always wondered what would happen if I purposely ate food with gluten, as I am also very sensitive to CC. Hopefully someone with more insight on this will weigh in--it's very interesting. Anyway, I hope you continue to feel ok
