  1. Okay, yeah, I REALLY miss cheese, lol!

Cheese and heavy cream! and cream cheese, yogurt, butter!

OMGosh, I forgot...I got a nice little RED bracelet yesterday in the hospital that listed all my "allergies"

The nurse that came to put it on me asked "what's casein?" I got to explain to her what it was, lol.

They made fun of my allergies! (teasingly in a good way--I had really FUN great nurses)

  2. and tell me which diagnosis you had first --- fibro or celiac??

And did you have fibro symptoms BEFORE you began to suspect Celiac?

And---- have you found that you pick up more fibro symptoms as the years go by???

I have it. I suspected that long before Celiac because one of my chiropractors found 11 of the pressure points were consistenly sore and nothing, absolutely nothing helps my chronically sore stiff muscles. She is the first one who mentioned fibro. The MD I see for Lyme was the one who "officially" gave me that little extra, and that was more for insurance company purposes than anything else. He was surprised that none of the other doctors had given that label to my pain. My fibro is definitely caused by the lyme I think. My symptoms are pretty consistent, but are actually a little better since I've started addressing the lyme, mold and metals issues and have been eating a diet that limits my inflamatory foods.

I should probably wait to post this...forgive me if I don't make sense. I had an endoscopy yesterday and for some reason I'm still woozy from the drugs, lol.

  3. Still no love here for the pressed powders, lol. I'm keeping one, but am giving away the lighter one.

Girls, I came one step away from being kicked out of the cult, lol. I actually ALMOST didn't put ANY makeup on today to come to work. :o Just didn't feel good, BUT I managed to get on some silk dust and a light dusting of foundation and a little blush. That's it. Oh and lip gloss. Phew, I think I may be safely still in the cult. :P

  4. Hello everyone!

The biopsy went well I think. I won't know anything until next week though. The ampulla is still abnormally large so he did indeed take samples of it. He also took samples of my esophagus.

Judging by how painful my throat and chest is today, I'd say I know exactly where he took the samples from, lol. My upper throat feels like someone stabbed it...I think they used a larger endoscopy tube than they've used on me before...he said this was new equipment that enabled him to take an ultrasound of the ampulla, so I'm guessing the tube was bigger. It certainly LOOKED bigger than I remembered, lol! Anyway, I think I started coming out of it while the tube was still in, but then the next thing I remember is being in the recovery area.

When I swallow it feels like something is stuck in my esophagus...right about where the boobs are, lol. And the upper throat is starting to feel the same way.

If my co-worker was here this week, I would have definitely stayed home...still dizzy and feeling really tired.

I DID sleep a lot yesterday though, lol. I ate, then layed down on the couch and fell asleep for about 3 hours. I also slept pretty well last night. I woke up a lot but fell back asleep, and I think I must have gotten up about 4 times to go to the bathroom, lol.

OH....and I found out from reading a post somewhere that the "OMG thread" is over 2,000 pages....all about CORN!!

OMG....I thought that was freakin hilarious.

Yeah....can you imagine if we'd never got past the corn??

and....OMG...I might be able to eat dairy again. :P

Well, guess what? No surprise, I have Lyme!!!! And Babesia and Bartonella. And I am on anti-biotics!!! So, I eat all of my words. I am very late stage Lyme...also no surprise.

I see that your questions have mostly been answered, so I basically just wanted to say congratulations on a diagnosis (sounds weird doesn't it)...knowing what you have is the first step to fixing it!

  5. How long til you know the results of the scopes?

Well, unless he can see something, I'm guessing we'll have to wait for lab analysis of the samples. The other times, I had to wait longer than normal because he saw that the cells were "different" so had the samples sent to other labs for confirmation. That's when the debacle of is it precancer or isn't it happened, lol. It's likely I have another stomach polyp and probably some damage to the esophagus, but other than that I think we'll just have to wait. I don't like waiting, lol.

Today we got our annual water report in the mail. Guess what was over the limit. Yes, it was arsenic. I am so livid at this town right now. This just proves many of my health problems are from the water. Does anyone know of a safe way to detox arsenic out of my body. I am doing the detox foot pads that take out arsenic, but i didnt know what else i could do.

Sheesh Paula!!! What the heck are they doing there! I don't know specifically about detoxing arsenic, but I would think that whatever you can do to support the detox process would help with all kinds of detox in the long run.

  6. Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. Nothing fun YET, just an endoscopy and biopsy tomorrow, lol!

BUT, on the weekend it's Vegas baby! Between my surgery and biopsy, etc. and my friends' schedules, we've put off my real birthday celebration until AUGUST! Then I get dinner at my friend's house. She just emailed me that she'll have steak and baked potatoes in my honor! Yum!

I've had reflexology done before and it IS really amazing. The place where I get my massages does it. The lady that owns the place used to work on me eons ago, and she always started with the feet. She'd tell me exactly what was going on in my life just by working on my feet. She gave me a little map and a golf ball so that I could massage my own feet whenever I needed to. I think they probably still do that, they just don't tell me what they find, lol. They always start with the feet.

So I haven't been taking any supplements for about a week now. One of the papers they gave me for prep for the scope tomorrow was to avoid herbal supplements for 7 days. I've only been taking Cumanda, liposomal glutathione, the gallbladder detox and the miasm detox. I haven't taken any of the neurotransmitter stuff or the melatonin. I WAS sleeping okay without it until the last three days. :( This morning I woke up at 1:00 and didn't go back to sleep! Yesterday it was 2:00 and the morning before it was 3:00! Can't wait to get back on the neurotransmitter stuff, lol.

Some of the sleeplessness might be anxiety over the scope, some might be the lack of supplements or it may be some combination of both...whatever, I'm tired, lol. :P

Andrea, the package is in the mail! :)

  7. Birdy, definitely hope that gets straightened out for you soon.

Okay, SOMEONE please tell me why I haven't been wearing WAFFLE CONE, lol! I'm still trying to sort through all my stuff and last night while trying to put everything in my new train case I came across Waffle Cone. For some reason I was thinking it was WAY brown, lol. It was so pretty in the jar that I had to wear it this morning...just to grocery shop and get my hair done and go to the car wash, lol. See, now THAT's the problem with having too much stuff!:ph34r::lol:

Wasn't sure I liked the new train case, but after a few rearranges, I think I've found the perfect configuration. Everything (except lip gloss), even my spares, fit in there! I wish there were a few more grooves to put the dividers into but I found a way to make it work the way I want. I do miss the drawers that were removable in my old train case though. It may not have had as much room, but EVERYTHING was easy to get to. I may put my lip glosses in the old case.

  8. Morning everyone!

Welcome Herman! Yep, I'm in Santa Clara County...I didn't know WHAT was in our water, but suspected that none of it was any good, lol. I'll have to look that one up.

PS What does "Pinned" mean before the topic on the main forum pages?

When posts are pinned, they will sort of come to the top of the forum list. Until they are pinned they go to the very end. The thread may not stay at the top if there are no new posts though.

Welcome to our epic thread, lol. You have to check back often here because we can put up three pages in a day (or sometimes more if we're on a hot topic, lol).

  9. I am far from the fires, right by the bay, but its really creepy and I can't really go outside. My asthma is in overdrive, and the air is so bad it makes me dizzy and gaspy to be outdoors. The sky and light is red. I can't even imagine being closer to the fires.

Exactly! I live near Los Gatos, so the closest fire is far away, but yeah, the sky and light is red.
