    @MerryA, Losartan/HCTZ 100/25mg Tablets HCTZ is hydrochlorothiazide. It is a diuretic. Diuretics can cause Thiamine deficiency. Thiamine is flushed out of the body with urine.     Try to take at least 100% of the RDA. My magnesium supplement says two tablets is 40% of the RDA, so I take five tablets... two pills after two meals and one pill after third meal or snack.
