    Jeebus, that's soon! I haven't made or had any, but I think the Whole Foods gluten-free Bakehouse has a chocolate cake, and several breakfast breads.     Well, again the info from Brainy DH comes raining down... He told me a while ago that benzene naturally occurs in bananas, that's right folks, the carcinogen benzene is in your gentle yellow friends! Of course, it's in like, tiny parts per billion, but still. Benzene is also used in making synthetic rubber, like latex. Maybe that's the connection

    If you are worried about it, you can just use cumin, chili powder, and garlic salt and it works just as well.

    I agree with the romanticizing primitive culture. Aside from the "war like behavior", there weren't very many! It's easy to be peaceful when other tribes are few and far between.

    In the spirit of St. Patrick's Day coming up (though I make it all year), Does anyone know if cook's corned beef brisket is safe or not? It's made by ConAgra, and I can't remember if they clearly label gluten ingredients... Thanks!

    Don't eat the dannon crap since they're giving you the runaround about the gluten thing. Cascade Fresh is the brand I eat, and their website explains what all of their cultures do, and also where to get it. They have 8 cultures which is 2 more than most. EDIT: I forgot the most important part, it says gluten free right on the label! Open Original...

    I take it as needed, which is why the bentyl works better for me. It also seems to work better. I'm trying to wean off the anti-spaz ones, too

    If I could have no other kitchen appliance, I would have my kitchen aid mixer. I am absolutely in love and I would never use another brand Plus, there are like, a million attachments you can get for it from a meat grinder, sausage thingy (yeah, that's the real term ), pasta roller (if you get really amitious), shredder, etc

    All fraps except the ones with chips in them (ie: java chip) are gluten free They've been my saving grace since dx!

    The whole activa thing is just new packaging for what yogurt already has naturally, live cultures. Cascade Fresh Active8 yogurt is basically the same thing, and it says gluten free on the package. I get mine at whole foods.
