  1. I can't remember the price I paid. (sale and an instant coupon) I like the glutenfreeda more. Probably because I have been eating that brand for ?? years.
  2. favorite wild animals... lemurs and wolves Favorite domesticated animal.... dog, rabbit, cat happen to also have 3 guinea pigs. they just have a hard time being picked up. You have to wait a very long time for them to climb onto your hand.
  3. Yes. you can get the Guido's pizza gluten free, because it is made in the WOW without wheat ovens. By the way the wow cookies sold on that big river on line store, are not from Without wheat in Okemos, MI
  4. Yup. tis St. John's day. You build a fire and drink alcohol. I like the orgasm day concept more! Consider the fire and cocktails foreplay.
  5. Hello Newbie User! Everyone has their own way of saying things. I would have told you.... You are going to learn a lot, quickly. The first thing is a lot of people are too ignorant about a gluten free diet and cross contamination to keep you 'safe". Sadly some well meaning people will accidentally poison you if you let them. i.e. Look a...
  6. He moved all the gluten free pizza making over to the WOW ovens. I'm going there tomorrow! Have to bring back pizzas for all my local gluten-free peeps.
  7. WOW is right next door to a Guido's pizza. Guess what? You can get "THE BEST" gluten free pizza ever at WOW! :D :D :D Pizza is a very regional dish for what a person expects. This is Midwestern goodness on a awesome gluten free crust. (they also serve deep crust pizza) YUM
  8. Have you been tested for Celiac? If you are a Celiac and were consuming gluten, the antibodies were passed (along with gluten) in the breastmilk. Get in for testing as soon as you can. :) Feel better soon!
  9. I am truly left handed, I'm just doing stuff with my right. I write right handed with a left handed back slant. I can switch to left handed writing if you hand me any writing utensil, and any "new" activity is always approached as a lefty. (switch hitting for batting, puck handling for hockey is left, but most available sticks are right.)
  10. I would have been a lefty, but was forced to be right handed. What about ambidextrous peeps?
  11. You definitely have described Celiac symptoms, vitamin deficiency symptoms, and an assault on your immune system. Have you ever been tested for Lyme disease? (we have had a few posters here that went on to be diagnosed with Lyme after many Celiac symptoms) Un explained enlarged lymph nodes needs to be looked into.
  12. I will disagree to my dear Addy, Rabbits are cuddles!. I do agree with the Lops being the BEST of the breeds. There is a huge difference about the cuddles, depending on the first human encounters the bunny has had. Handled daily as youngsters, the rabbits still crave human touch. Rabbits have hormones. A male can be given a stuffed animal to be romantic...
  13. I'm glad to hear you are feeling better! Good to know information. The doctors that said you should have been feeling better on the gluten free diet (and ruled Celiac out because of still having issues) were not entirely correct. There is a term Celiac Sprue ~ for diagnosed Celiacs not responding to the gluten free diet.
  14. I your doctor said 6 weeks, then at least a slice of gluten bread daily for 6 weeks. The concern I have from reading your post... "throw up burps", constipation, "cold" tummy clutching, and the symptoms also related to Celiac can be symptoms of Eosinophilic Esophagitis. I would make sure the ped. gastro. will be ordering the pathologist for the eosinophil...
  15. Sorry you are going through this. Demand medical testing! A full scope with biopsies will be able to tell the story. At this age there can be more than just Celiac going on. (there should not have been any gluten in the formula? Any breast milk? (the mother may have been passing gluten and Celiac antibodies if she has not been diagnosed) May daughter...
  16. I would get it checked out. My husband had these symptoms and went in for a colonoscopy. A large polyp was found and removed. He has been going in once a year and having a polyp removed for 3 years now. *These symptoms are NOT typical for a polyp. It is most likely a hemorrhoid. The really lucky thing was, he went in for these symptoms and was able...
  17. I'm sorry. Your question is very interesting, especially with Celiac connection to Diabetes.
  18. Congratulations! The projects sound really interesting and the Lego twist is precious. (Maybe you should send some pictures to Lego?)
  19. Interesting.... Have you checked the gluten files? That forum gets into more technical reports and discussions.
  20. Eating dog food can be a symptom of PICA (anemia/ low iron creating the craving of "non-food" items) Keep this in mind and really keep an eye on your daughter! Kids with PICA will eat dirt, drywall, chew ice, and will chew food and spit it out. (overlooked symptom blamed on "picky eating") Excess levels of vitamin B 12 are flushed from the body naturally...
  21. I love your kitchen! Cool bunnies set. Do they come as a black and white set or your choose black OR white? I love those tiered basket things. (I bought one for myself then donated it to a fundraiser. Maybe I thought I would buy it back, but the bids went too high.) My whole house needs to be scrubbed!
  22. Were you specifically tested for Hashimoto's Thyroiditis? That is a little harder to get diagnosed. Always get the lab results for any of your tests. i.e. vitamin B12 test result reads "in the normal range", but when you look closer ~342 out of a range that is 300- 1500. well that seems pretty low. One doctor actually gave me a shot of B12 with the test...
  23. There is a connection. There are connections between Celiac and other diagnosable disorders that present like GERD. OK so here is a short list, and actual statistics are changing everyday for the connection to Celiac Eosinophilic Esophagitis (new cases of EE are to be screened for Celiac) Barret's Esophagus (never heard of this disorder until...
  24. Ohhh that looks so YUMMY! That is why I stay out of this string!
  25. My daughter was really young. (with PICA/iron deficiency that causes the individual to crave non food items) She went to eat dog food. So check the pet's food too. Interesting enough there are so many pet foods labeled gluten free now.
