    ARCHIVED My Diagnosis

Many of you know me for years but I've been very ill this summer. The symptoms really started in January 07 and ended in me having my gallbladder removed in August. I have had diarrhea since July 21 to present. I have lost 20 lbs since July. I went to gastro yesterday and had a colonoscopy and he didn't find any polyps, nor Chrone's nor Ulcerative...

  3. Best way to go is to make appt with gastro just to be on safe side.....
  4. all my adult life I had glucose levels of about 88 (fasting and non fasting). Two weeks ago I had reading of 105 but did not fast that day. Actually I had pastina (wheat macaroni - I am not celiac) about two hours before the blood was drawn. Anyone know if this sounds abnormal?
  5. Well I am still dealing with diarrhea since 7/21/07. I am worried that I have pancreatic cancer ...but CT scan on 8/4 didn't show any tumors. guess I am just crazy now. The 3 gastros I went to say there's no connection with pre-gallbladder surgery with the diarrhea I have been having. Now I have post-gallbladder surgery diarrhea. I have lost 2...

  7. I am looking for a quilt or a line of them that is long enough to be used as bedspread and omit the "shams." A quilt that is long enough to go over the bed pillows like a bedspread. Does this exist? I don't like the shams as they attract dust (it looks pretty though). any suggestions?
  8. Other than gastro and neurologist what kind of doctor will treat this? My husband's PN is not from diabetes - that's been ruled out already. It could be B12 deficiency, but he's been tested for that and it was Ok. Any suggestions?
  9. During my bout with gall bladder disease I went to gastro #1 and as of the day he saw me he went on vacation for over a week. I felt abandoned. During the week he went away I had my gall bladder out asap as I got very ill. During that week I decided to go to a new gastro - so I went to this gastro #2 and I didn't care for him & he was sarcastic...
  10. sounds like what I have been going thru... I am confused now if to stay with gastro #2 or go to Habba..... I didn't realize how "subjective" endoscopies and colonoscopies are.
  11. Hepatitis test came out negative
  12. Well I am not doing much better. My liver enzymes are elevated and gastro is checking me for hepatitis....stool test came out negative. I have to take immodium to stop diarrhea. I have to have endoscopy and colonoscopy on 9/6 and at this point Dr. can tell if it's celiac, but we'll see.
  13. Welcome back and congratulations!
  14. Thanks to moderators for watching out.
  15. I added it gradually to my breadmix (Gluten Free Pantry) and everytime I increased it the results were better and better.
  16. we've lost the "ground breaker" of original gluten free cooking. Wishing God's blessings on her soul and her family. She is missed already.
  17. I had high liver enzymes last week and got so nauseous and gallbladder had to come out. I had diarrhea about from 7/24 to date gallblader was removed 8/16 and still have it after the gallbladder was removed. Additionally I still have no interest in food - no appetite - I have to force myself to eat . The gastro said that the diarrhea had no connection...
  18. I had my thyroid levels checked earlier this year. And I only take Levoxyl. I feel so sick like I am slowly dying. I have to get another blood chemistry profile test today and a bile salts test
  19. Thanks everyone (can't have dairy as I am lactose intolerant and Dr. said not to have dairy with the diarrhea anyway) But friend sent me this web address Open Original Shared Link the site is from University of Maryland Medical Center. Now the gastro I went to said that diarrhea/loose bowel is not a symptom of gallbladder disease. I am not proving...
  20. A few weeks after my gallbladder diagnosis I developed loose bowel symptoms. Now they want to postpone my surgery until the loose bowel is under control (without Immodium). I have never been so sick in my life. I have rethunk my positions on national healthcare (maybe I can see it clearer now that I am not well). My experience is showing me that our...

  22. well surgeon who has done this surgery has seen me and says yes gallbladder must be removed and his diagnosis is that I have small stones stuck to inside lining of gallbladder. So now I am very interested in knowing if my symptoms are what one would get with gallstones...
  23. My surgeon found in report polyps verus tiny adherent gallbladder calculi - meaning polyps vs. small stones stuck up against the gallbladder wall. He feels that they are stones that are stuck. Now as to symptoms: discomfort to touch right abdomen sometimes pain in under right shoulder blade pain in right chest This is especially worse when I...
  24. so if there's no shadow then there's nothing to investigate? Do you know how far down into the abdominal area the sonogram goes?
  25. I haven't been feeling well due to gallbladder and you know when you're sick you imagine you have every dread disease. Anyway I was wondering if during an abdomenal ultrasound does test pick up tumors in other organs such as stomach and intestines?
