  4. Please note that RWG always uses the correct phrasing when she talks about genes. They have not been shown to be causative, only associated. This means you can have celiac disease without these genes, and you can have these genes without having celiac disease, but the two are often found together. Genetic testing should not be used to rule out celiac disease...

Yes. Consider bread or chex, not both. sub in protein, as suggested, or fat. No jam, no sugar without protein/fat at the same time.

    ARCHIVED "fathead"

I haven't seen the movie but I do know that when I searched pubmed for research on low carb (high fat) vs low fat (high carb) diets, I only found two studies that compared them, and both showed that the long term health effects (weight loss, triglycerides, blood glucose, etc) were the same for both groups after about two years. During the two years, the...
  19. Just be reasonably considerate. It' seems that most people here will let you know if you're out of line.
  20. My vote - skip the biopsy. Your diet is under your control and you don't need a doctor's permission.
  21. I'm willing to be annoyed by you for 30 years or so. I'm glad you're keeping us updated, I've been waiting for your good news.
