Pillsbury Gluten Free Cookie Dough

My local piggly wiggly is now carrying pillsbury gluten free cookie dough in the refrigerator section.  Can I say that they taste amazing!!!  I know that they are not very healthy, however, with 5 kids it was so convenient to just pop open a tub and make tasty hot cookies without all the work!!!  My kids loved them and even my husband wanted more...  Just make sure that you never cook them if you are alone--I ate 6!!!

Edit: I see only chocolate chip. I would have loved a sugar cookie.

They only have choc chip, however, they also carry a pie crust and I did buy that and maybe will do some experimenting with it or just make a peach pie!

This is great news...I bake most things from scratch...but used to use gluten filled premade cookie dough often when traveling, etc.

Sure to have some happy campers - thanks for sharing :)

Is there a way to buy it online? My friend with celiac disease is interested!

I don't know if you can buy it online...You could try amazon!  If you go to pillsbury online you can check locations near you--and alot of places (like piggly wiggly) will order it in for you...

      Shingles is dormant and related to chicken pox when one has had in the past.Shingles comes out when stress is heightened.I had my 3rd Shingles in 2023.

      Oats naturally contain a protein called avenin, which is similar to the gluten proteins found in wheat, barley, and rye. While avenin is generally considered safe for most people with celiac disease, some individuals, around 5-10% of celiacs, may also have sensitivity to avenin, leading to symptoms similar to gluten exposure. You may fall into this category, and eliminating them is the best way to figure this out. Some people substitute gluten-free quinoa flakes for oats if they want a hot cereal substitute.
