Gluten Free Nuts

It seems as though I read something about this on here before, but I need to purchase almonds and walnuts.  I don't have time to place an order with nuts.com.  Are there any I can purchase from the grocery store that are safe and gluten free?  I can't seem to find the thread I remember reading before.

i was in this exact predicament lolz - i needed pecans in a hurry, so i googlied it - 'diamond' said their pecans were gluten-free on the website, but when i got the package home, the dreaded disclaimer was on the back:  manufactured on shared equipment, may contain other tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy, milk or sesame seeds.  may contain shell pieces.

i was like:  RATS!!!  so, i got fisher.  they had a disclaimer, too, but just says:  may contain peanuts and/or other tree nuts.  may contain shell fragments.

lesson:  i shoulda read the label in the store..........  lolz

Fisher nuts told me their nuts were NOT safe because they make gluten containing stuff on the same line. Of course that was a can of cashews. I don't know about their bagged stuff for baking.

Planter's nuts are safe (unless the ingredients label says otherwise), but I don't think they have bagged nuts for baking either.

Can you get nuts in the shell? Those should be safe. It'll be a pain having to crack them but if need be...

I use Planters cashews...well eat them all the time is a better way to say it...anyway no issues with them.

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
