In 1978 Virginia Slims' magazine advertising spouted "You've Come A Long Way Baby". Well, in 2011 "WE" celiac/DH people can express those same words when talking about how far we have travelled since I was diagnosed as a brittle celiac/DH person 16 years ago. If the people with peanut allergies can become well known, so can celiac people!

DID YOU KNOW: That 16 years ago gluten free foods were difficult to find, and upon finding the small frost-bitten white-gummy loaf of bread, which was even more expensive than it is today, one had to scrape it off the roof of your mouth with your tongue and chew!

      You would think any business would see the wisdom of honoring a $50 gift certificate on the basis of customer satisfaction alone, apart from any questions about software glitches.

      Welcome to the forum. Is the nausea associated with eating certain foods, or anything else in particular?  Many people with celiac disease, especially those who are in the 0-2 year range of their recovery, have additional food intolerance issues which could be temporary. To figure this out you may need to keep a food diary and do an elimination diet over a few months. Some common food intolerance issues are dairy/casein, eggs, corn, oats, and soy. The good news is that after your gut heals (for most people who are 100% gluten-free this will take several months to two years) you may be able to slowly add some these items back into your diet after the damaged villi heal. It was very disappointing, esp to my wife, to realize we can't patronize the place anymore.
