Nana's No Gluten Cookies

CMCM Rising Star

My local health food store just got in a line of Nana's cookie products and I've been testing them. So far I've tried her Nana Banana cookie bars, Chocolate munch cookie bars (both of these are great!), also Berry Vanilla cookie bars (pretty good), and then there were also huge individual cookies...the Lemon cookie was great. The big chocolate one I didn't like so much...just too big and dry and I wouldn't buy that one again. These cookies are made without gluten of course, also no eggs, no dairy, no refined sugars, no cane or beet products, no hydrogenated oils, no added salt, and no cholesterol. I really like these, and so does my husband because he keeps stealing them! I looked at the package, and I guess the website is www.healthycrowd.com.

I love the chocolate munch ones!

Nana's makes only three gluten-free cookies, the rest are 'regular' flour/gluten products.... I wonder about contamination (although I have never had a bad reaction to them).... since the gluten-free cookies are probably made in the same facility as the others.

ps I don't think the lemon cookies are gluten-free! You'd better double check that.

They definitely have a gluten-free lemon cookie. Also, I e-mailed them on their manufacturing practices...their response is below:

Thank you for your email. We love to hear from our customers.

We have dedicated days and dedicated equipment.

Our No Gluten bakery facility is in the works and should be completed this

year. (2005)

Your response on this matter is what I expect. You’ve had a similar episode years ago, but this one is lasting longer!

I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?
