I am pooping out sharp little stones 2 to 3mm when I take a photo and blow it up they have the pattern of peach pits. It's the strangest thing. I did a celiac screening and was negative.

Welcome to the forum!

Do you have anemia or Diabetes? Thiamine and magnesium deficiencies can cause constipation.

Are you keeping a food mood poo'd journal?  Do you know which food is causing the peach pit problem?

Have you been checked for H. Pylori infection?

augustmoon Rookie

I did get tested for the h pylori. They are actually tiny sharp stones but when you blow up the photo they have a pattern to them.  I'm so puzzled

knitty kitty Grand Master

Was the H. Pylori test negative?

Have you been tested for intestinal parasites?

Do you have constipation?  Is this with every bowel movement?

What have you been eating?  Are you eating gluten?

augustmoon Rookie

Yes the test for pylori was negative. I've gained weight, my vitamins are normal I have energy and seem healthy but I use the restroom very frequently with floaty mushy stool. Doctor said ibs but that's so vague.

augustmoon Rookie

I don't know if im actually constipated but I've been known to have lumpy pebbles followed by soft mushy poo. Sorry so detailed. 😞😓😩

@augustmoon,

No worries, we talk about poop a lot here.

Are you currently eating gluten?  Or have you gone gluten free?

Do you eat a lot of carbohydrates?

Were you eating lots of gluten prior to your Celiac test?

What symptoms made you get a Celiac test?

Constant pooping it's become a burden and it itches. Their is mucous. It's just such an ordeal. Is their anyway to send a photo of the stones? They are just so bizzar

Not sure if it’ll work as I’ve never had stones but lots of blood and mucus. I’ve found that kefir helps, I’m pretty dependent on it. I’ve recommended it to lots of people with gut problems of all sorts and it seems to help most of them.

I’d collect some of the stones and see if you can get them lab tested.

OK I feel silly but I figured it out they were raspberry seeds I looked at photos of close up seeds and they had that neat pattern so no stones, but I do have digestive issues. I'll try the  kefir. Thanks for the advise.

Update......raspberry and blackberry seeds lol. But I found out I had SIBO. I just cured a 7 year long problem with Berberine. No more serious issues.

Thanks you for this info! I will definitely do more research on it!

Her poop is totally normal since going gluten free. Once or twice per day.  She eats a lot of fruits and veggies. No juice. She said the squeezing is in the spot where her food goes in her belly. Definitely not dehydrated. She drinks tons of water.

Hurrah for an official diagnosis!   You may want to put the whole family on gluten free, as a preventative measure for the ones not testing positive right now.  Remember, exposure to gluten triggers the Celiac genes your kids have inherited from you.  Keeping them gluten free now, even though they don't test positive right now, can delay triggering Celiac Disease development in them.

@annirosex, Get your Vitamin D level checked.  Low Vitamin D can mess up menstrual cycles.  Vitamin D at healthy levels (80-100) acts as a hormone and regulates your immune system.  Thiamine Vitamin B 1 is needed to activate Vitamin D, so adding thiamine in the form Benfotiamine would be beneficial.

Thank you! I saw a different provider this week who took one look at all my medical information and declared it was celiac in the first 5 minutes of the appointment. I am still a bit in shock but so very thankful to have an official diagnosis. The doctor told me to have my children tested and one of them came back with a "weak positive" TTG IgA! Not sure what to think about that! This week has been a wild ride. Thankfully this website has such great information! I've been going through all the do's and don't's of cross contact etc.
