Subject: People who can't correctly title their topics

Patti or Amanda or Bev (anybody else?),

Can you guys fix topic titles? I wrote Ttg instead of tTG and stuff like that really annoys me. Plus, I don't want to get a post/PM from Tom telling me that I wrote it wrong (heehee, yankin' your chain, Tom!!)

I am using the wrong quote, they are stopping in Feb, its been all over the news and people are all Poed...well why should tell sell bakery items that cause obesity....etc etc...

I was there on Sunday, I think we are stopping there tonight to pick up some things for dinner.

Do a google search about the cigarette sales....you should see what the people up in NY are saying...some things are harsh.

Wow--I had no idea. I'll do a search and see what I've missed.

I thought the Yeti was an everywhere/all the time phenomenon.

:o Is Yeti omnipresent???? could be....does he take different shapes? as far as I know, I haven't see a large, hirsute beast here............

OMG!!!!!! :o Just had a startling thought.....does Yeti need his butt glands squeezed, Emily, insofar as you can tell? Was he seen......scooting about on the carpet?

good Lord.........that would be.....(h)anus...........   <cracking self up>

Cash the check, hold onto the money, run up your credit cards on things like vet bills, declare bankruptcy -everything magically erased- then get the boob job with the cash.

Or, even better, charge the boob job, then bankruptcy, then mad spending spree with cash.

 mad scientist....I like this logic very much.....

Good morning....Wait.....wanna have lifted spirits this whole day, so....

Good Morning, all????...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????!!!!....

um.....ahem....must clarify this, Emily. the superfluous mood-enhancing punctuation only applies to question marks and exclamation marks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but..............dots.............are...........fun.......tooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!! :P

TINK! TINK! TINK! <knife tapping on water goblet>

Ahem *throat clearing*

May I have everyone's attention?

I have just discovered that Patti has now posted more times than Scott the Board Creator/Administrator. She is now the overall #1 poster!!!!!! She has MORE opinions than anyone else on this forum!

Congratulations Patti . . . be on the look out for superfluous fluids

*snort*

this is quite funny!

Nikki, yes it's a real biotch. There's no fun whatsoever involved!

YETI sighting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On Regis and Kelly (oops I almost said Kathy Lee, same difference).

Apparently they have some winter contest named in honor of Yeti, seems Yeti is a symbol of winter and snow getaways.

I wonder how they got that idea.

OMG - I saw this yesterday - - whilst typing my LAST (for a tiny little while) parole report.....did crack up......

p.s. Isn't the proper spelling BEEOCH?????????? just trying to verify

MORNING SILLEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats Patti! you are the posting Queen!!!

Wow, Patti! You've had a lot to say! I can't imagine 10,000 posts. You should print them all off and submit it to a publisher as a book--it would be a novel! Actually, I think one of us should do this with this Silly thread...funniest reading around, I tell you. Riotous humour, high drama, great jokes, the odd recipe...Ain't seen nuthin' like that on the New York Times Bestseller List!

I suspect that I know....I think one of our posters is really Regis Philbin. I've been suspecting Mr. Psawyer for some time....

Hmmm, the spelling of biotch/beeoch is up for debate.

I have only seen it as "Bi-otch" so that is what I went with

I was just thinking that pigeonholing Yeti as a symbol of winter and snow getaways might be slightly prejudicial, and frankly type casting.

For we know Yeti parties all year long.

OMG....so that explains the condition of my livingroom carpet!! Man, here I was, blaming my husband. YETI'S GOT FULL ANAL GLANDS!!

It all makes sense, now...when he was goaltending, he kept dropping to the ice in what we thought was a classic butterfly save motion, but then he'd be rubbing the ice with his behind. We thought it was just a bit of finesse...but OMG, tapes of his technique are being studied, analysed and copied by the bigwigs in CA. You guys watch your pro goalies over the next few games--could be a whole new move sweeping the NHL... :o:lol:

Oh! He's gone to Alex's for a few days. Someone should tell her to roll up all carpets...Maybe her mom can go over and attempt to empty him out, as she apparently knows the technique.

...Yes, things could get mighty hanus.....:lol:

can you imagine.......all of Patti's posts.....for about the first 8,500, quite normal...then, a subtle but startling shift as she enters the silly vortex.........

PSAWYER is REGIS??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, this does make sense......I can see it.....

OMG - forgot to mention earlier - - I ALREADY HAVE the Victoria's Secret cutlets.....they are fantastic....but still, just not quite satisfying...... *sigh*

need to find another windfall somehow....there were lots of rich, VERY much older men at this fab bar last night.....must find one who is quite old and QUITE ill

There's a plan.

Have you seen that movie, oh I forget the name, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Sigourney Weaver are mother daughter and they team up to take old rich men for their money.

Kinda like that, only a Susie/Dingo team.

You will probably need the chicken cutlets

How's Stinker doing today?

 The cutlets always do command a bit more attention whilst in play......

Stinker........ mygawd, I knew this would be prolonged......she had what may have been her last orchard walk yesterday...(unless we drive there) :( We took a very slow amble over there....but STILL, she did a little bit of prancing and even a short spurt of RUNNING in there.....but was wiped out afterwards. She still smiles a lot.....gets very excited for visitors, but she is constantly lying in a heap on the floor in the same uncomfortable-looking position........breathing problems..... *sigh*

:(

I am managing to keep my grief at bay, however...... :) It will certainly consume me again.....when it's time....

Let's just say it was an interesting evening. The Yeti seemed very out of sorts when I picked him up at the train station yesterday. Lots of scooting and chasing his tail (does he have a tail??) and seeming quite uncomfortable. So I did what I had to do: put on some gloves, said a little prayer, and found myself to be very thankful that my mom taught me how to empty our poor puppy's anal glands that fateful day over a decade ago! Our yeti seemed much relieved and slept very peacefully last night. He's like a brand new (mystical, magical) man today!!!

Yay!!! I love our Wii. Although I often feel like I have tennis elbow after playing the tennis game too much. I love the bowling too! We got Big Brain Academy for Christmas from my dad but we haven't played it much yet.

 I'm not so sure. I was on the phone wiht my mom this morning, and she asked what I was doing. Catching up with the sillies, was my answer......and I snorted and said, one of the gals has husband who's been scooting his butt all over her carpet, so she has to squeeze his anal glands......my mom let out the loudest guffaw.......she thinks we're crazy.

and then sometimes she'll call and say......"GET OFFA THAT COMPUTER!!!!!" (she knows  )

A new, technical name for this maneuver...The Icerub? And those goalies who adopt said move would be referred to as Icerubbers...

I do not remember that little rhyme, but it brings up a question I have long pondered:

Why is there sometimes pee on the seat in a women's washroom stall? What is a woman doing that allows her to get urine (sometimes a fair amount) on the seat? Is she standing? Oracle Peter, do you know the answer to this? :D

If black seed oil is working for his Afib, stick to it, but if not, I can say that ablation therapy is no big deal--my mother was out of the procedure in about 1 hour and went home that evening, and had zero negative effects from the treatment. PS - I would recommend that your husband get an Apple watch to monitor his Afib--there is an app and it will take readings 24/7 and give reports on how much of the time he's in it. Actual data like this should be what should guide his treatment.

This happened to me as well. What’s weirder is that within a couple hours of taking paxlovid it subsided. I thought maybe I got glutened but after reading your post not so sure.

Hi Tiffany. Thank you for writing your dituation and  circumstancesin such detail and so well writte, too. I particularly noticed what you wrote about brain for and feeling like your brain is swelling and I know from my own experiences that's how it feel and your brain really does swell and you get migraines.    Way back when I was in my 20s I read a book by 2 MD allergist and they described their patient who came in complaining that her brain, inside her cranium, was swelling  and it happened when she smelled a certain chemical she used in her home. She kept coming back and insisting her brain actually swelled in her head. The Drs couldn't explain this problem so they, with her permission, performed an operation where they made a small opening through her cranium, exposed her to the chemical then watched as she brain did swell into the opening. The DRs were amazed but then were able to advise her to avoid chemicals that made her brain swell. I remember that because I occasionally had brain fog then but it was not a serious problem. I also realized that I was becoming more sensitive to chemicals I used in my work in medical laboratories. By my mid forties the brain fog and chemicals forced me to leave my  profession and move to a rural area with little pollution. I did not have migraines. I was told a little later that I had a more porous blood brain barrier than other people. Chemicals in the air would go up into my sinused and leak through the blood brain barrier into my brain. We have 2 arteries  in our neck that carry blood with the nutrients and oxygen into the brain. To remove the fluids and used blood from the brain there are only capillaries and no large veins to carry it away so all those fluids ooze out much more slowly than they came in and since the small capillaries can't take care of extra fluid it results in swelling in the face, especially around the eyes. My blood flow into my brain is different from most other people as I have an arterial ischema, adefectiveartery on one side.   I have to go forward about 20 or more years when I learned that I had glaucoma, an eye problem that causes blindness and more years until I learned I had celiac disease.  The eye Dr described my glaucoma as a very slow loss of vision that I wouldn't  notice until had noticeable loss of sight.  I could have my eye pressure checked regularly or it would be best to have the cataracts removed from both eyes. I kept putting off the surgery then just overnight lost most of the vision in my left eye. I thought at the I had been exposed to some chemical and found out a little later the person who livedbehind me was using some chemicals to build kayaks in a shed behind my house. I did not realize the signifance  of this until I started having appointments with a Dr. in a new building. New buildings give me brain fog, loss of balance and other problems I know about this time I experienced visual disturbances very similar to those experienced by people with migraines. I looked further online and read that people with glaucoma can suffer rapid loss of sight if they have silent migraines (no headache). The remedy for migraines is to identify and avoid the triggers. I already know most of my triggers - aromatic chemicals, some cleaning materials, gasoline and exhaust and mold toxins. I am very careful about using cleaning agents using mostly borax and baking powder. Anything that has any fragrance or smell I avoid. There is one brand of dishwashing detergent that I can use and several brands of  scouring powder. I hope you find some of this helpful and useful. I have not seen any evidence that Celiac Disease is involved with migraines or glaucoma. Please come back if you have questions or if what I wrote doesn't make senseto you. We sometimes haveto learn by experience and finding out why we have some problems. Take care.       The report did not mention migraines.

Hi Jmartes71 That is so much like my story! You probably know where Laytonville is and that's where I was living just before my 60th birthday when the new Dr. suggested I could have Celiacs. I didn't go on a gluten challange diet before having the Celiac panel blood test drawn. The results came back as equivical as one antibody level was very high but another, tissue transaminasewas normal. Itdid show I was  allergic to cows milk and I think hot peppers. I immediately went gluten free but did not go in for an endoscopy. I found an online lab online that would do the test to show if I had a main celiac gene (enterolab.com). The report came back that I had inherited a main celiac gene, DQ8, from one parent and a D!6 from the other parent. That combination is knows to sym[tons of celiac worse than just inheriting one main celiac gene. With my version of celiac disease I was mostly constipated but after going gluten-free I would have diarrhea the few times I was glutened either by cross contamination or eating some food containing gluten. I have stayed gluten-free for almost 20 years now and knew within a few days that it was right for me although my recovery has been slow.   When I go to see a  medical provide and tell them I have celiacs they don't believe me. The same when I tell them that I carry a main celiac gene, the DQ8. It is only when I tell them that I get diarrhea after eating gluten that they realize that I might have celiac disease. Then they will order th Vitamin B12 and D3 that I need to monitor as my B12 levels can go down very fast if I'm not taking enough of it. Medical providers haven't been much help in my recovery. They are not well trained in this problem. I really hope this helps ypu. Take care.
