 so now besides thinking d%$#@#$-baggery when I see debauchery, I'll replace facility w/ flaccidity??????

What are you ppl DOING TO ME??!!!??

John's fave word is Douchebag!!!! We loved when Sipowitz....said it on NYPD Blue

Isn't that great to have testicle implants to improve a dog's self-esteem  ..........cuz those bully dogs can be unmerciful when they tease neutered dogs :P

Did anyone ever see those fake dangling balls that men buy for their pick-ups....When you guys say plastic organs that is what comes to mind.

Judy--scary that right after you drove by the problem happened....Right after 9/11 they handed out Potassium Chloride pills to take in case of a "leak" it should help prevent thyroid cancer....another scary thing!

Good Luck to Jess and Bev....neither sounds fun!!!!

Finally!!! You've been here since the verrrrrry beginning, longer than ANY of us here now, I believe - - it's about bleedin' time! Susie's our reigning monarch!

Which reminds me....Emily and my names are not phunny! We got the short end of the stick.....can we get fake testes for that?

You are so right, Amanda. We have plain, ordinary, good ol' strong, industrious names.....ain't nuttin' phunny to be done wif 'em, I'm afraid. Um.......I'm not exactly sure if that, in fact, qualifies us for complimentary artificial testes....in fact, I did not know there even was a program where we could apply for such a thing.........is it a social program? An insurance benefit? I'll need to know this when I submit my application.

Ordinary, uncomical name can entitle individual to testicular prosthetics.....

Perhaps if your name is only a little boring, you'd only qualify for ONE prosthetic......:huh::lol:

I think Equestrian is all in Hong Kong .. ..and strange as it sounds, I think it's indoors

Yep. But there was a huge typhoon there a couple of days ago.....things are a big mess there. We'll have to see........

;) Will do my very best. Plan to keep things rather.......stable in my life for as long as possible. Plan to work on negative thoughts. Plan not to get TOO worked up when applying and not getting jobs. Plan never to date again.

And........my first edict:

NO BROKEN HEARTS OR ACUTE SADNESS IN SILLYVILLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honey........excuse me.....Your Royal Dingyness........ya'll did NOT make that up...........that's as old as the hills.

I swear, we did. did you SEE anyone putting L's on their foreheads BEFORE 1978? Becuase - it was Karen, Eddie Locker, Lisa Reidel adn I.......we had just read The Scarlet Letter, so we decided that we all had L's on our chests instead of A's.......soon, the L's were on fore'eads.........we went to four separate colleges, all over California.......OMG......here's sumfin' you all don't know about me - - my parents FORCED me to join a sorority - yup (I created rather a scandal when I signed my severance papers 1.5 years later - after having created a subgroup in the Delta Gamma house called The Rebels - I owed over $5,000 in fines for broken curfews, etc.......worked off by painting signs adn other mundane duties  )

anywho - - in the closing skits of my first semester at Fresno STate (1980), they all mimicked me by doing an L on the forehead.......so the whole sorority caught on.......then all the frat boys.....

later I went to a party in Porterville, one hour south of here.......a guy made the L sign on the head and I shrieked, "where did you learn that?" "party at Fresno State" was his reply.....

I'm telling you Lisa, WE ARE FAMOUS :lol: and, unless it was going on somewhere else in teh country unbeknownst to us.......we DID bring it to the West Coast......... :P

Congrats Queen Susie!!!!!!

What shall we do as your Phurst Duty in Office?????

Can we have different color toliets in the palace....that would make Pooping Phun!!!!

phurst duty - see above and YES!!!!!!!! we can have multi-coloUred toilets.......with a manservant in attendance at each one.........

Yes, about bleedin' time indeed!

and yes, there also MUST be a gorgeous (but still erudite) Roman slave feeding me mojitos grapes at Amanda's.....

Did anyone notice on the other beer thread, that there is a member named "phake phur".....phunny.

plant sources of calcium, such as spinach, have calcium bound to oxalates, which is not good. best source of calcium is unfortunately dairy, do you tolerate dairy? fermented dairy like kefir is good and or a little hard cheese. i do eat dairy, i can only take so much dietary restriction and gluten is hard enough! but i guess some people do have bad reactions to it, so different for everyone.

i take b12, folate, b2, b6, glycine, Nac, zinc, vk2 mk4, magnesium, coq10, pqq, tmg, creatine, omega 3, molybdnem (sp) and just started vit d. quite a list i know.  I have high homocysteine (last checked it was 19, but is always high and i finally decided to do something about it) and very low vitamin d, 10. have been opposed to this supp in the past, but going to try it at 5k units a day. having a pth test on friday, which is suspect will be high. my homocysteine has come down to around 9 with 3 weeks of these supplements and expect it to go down further. i also started on estrogen/progesterone. I have osteoporosis too, so that is why the hormones.  anyway, i think all celiacs should have homocysteine checked and treated if needed (easy enough with b vit, tmg). homocysteine very bad thing to be high for a whole host of reasons. all the bad ones, heart attack , stroke, alzi, cancer..... one of the most annoying things about celiacs (and there are so many!) is the weight gain. i guess i stayed thin all those years being undiagnosed because i was under absorbing everything including calories. going gluten-free and the weight gain has been terrible, 30#, but i'm sure a lot more went into that (hip replacement - and years of hip pain leading to inactivity when i was previously very active, probably all related to celiacs, menopause) yada yada. i seemed to lose appetite control, like there was low glp, or leptin or whatever all those hormones are that tell you that you are full and to stop eating. my appetite is immense and i'm never full. i guess decades or more ( i think i have had celiacs since at least my teens - was hospitalized for abdominal pain and diarrhea for which spastic colon was eventually diagnosed and had many episodes of diarrhea/abdominal pain through my 20's. but that symptom seemed to go away and i related it to dairy much more so than gluten. Also my growth was stunted, i'm the only shorty in my family. anyway, decades of malabsorption and maldigestion led to constant hunger, at least thats my theory. then when i started absorbing normally, wham!! FAT!!!

Great advise there I agree with the aniexty part, and the aura migraine has I suffer both, I've also read some great books that have helped I'm going too look the one you mentioned up too thankyou for that, I find a camomile tea just a small one and a gentle wind down before bed has helped me too, I suffer from restless leg syndrome and nerve pain hence I don't always sleep well at the best of times , racing mind catches up I have decorated my whole house in one night in my mind before 🤣 diet changes mindset really help , although I have to say it never just disappears, I find once I came to terms with who I am I managed a lot better  , a misconception is for many to change , that means to heal but that's not always the case , understanding and finding your coping mechanisms are vital tools , it's more productive to find that because there is no failure then no pressure to become something else , it's ok to be sad it's ok to not sleep , it's ok to worry , just try to see it has a journey not a task 🤗
    • nanny marley
I agree there I've tryed this myself to prove I can't eat gluten or lactose and it sets me back for about a month till I have to go back to being very strict to settle again
    • trents
You may also need to supplement with B12 as this vitamin is also involved in iron assimilation and is often deficient in long-term undiagnosed celiac disease.
