Phab to read you, Richard! :)

Should I take the Skull Cracker for extra affect?????

Yet again, another occasion where you need to be wearing my penis earrings, Soooozle.

Tis the phirst I've heard of this heinous man  Yes Soux--take the Skull Crusher and give the ba****d what fer. Sounds like nuthin but a bully.

WIH is the matter wif people sometimes.....

he is a DISGUSTING PIG MAN of a BULLY. the stories I could tell you guys.....it's astonishing. A boy with severe tourettes - such bad tics he can't control his hand/arm movements? Tries SO hard and works SOOOOOO hard, had straight A's in all other classes. EXCEPT Mr. A$$ Hat gave him a C MINUS. and he wouldn't change it. He tells them they're all Losers.....they're terrible at art......it's unbelievable.

So - he put the really fake nice act on when I came in, and did not bully Sophie one single bit, of course (he's nice when other people are there, except one or two occasions).

Um - his severely retarded 17-year old son (in diapers with no speech, anything :( ) was diagnosed with Celiac.....he has refused to put him on a g f diet. Well, I gave him a 10-minute lecture on it today - he stared in rapt attention.

Sophie and I felt that that could be the one good thing to come of this.....who knows. He looked gobsmacked when I told him about my former life......I referred him to this site. (but not this thread  )

Sounds like a teacher I had in high school...........picked on a girl in front of the class for her acne. Seriously mean stuff.......calling her sandpaper face and such. I used to go watch the boys' track practice with a friend. She went to watch her boyfriend.....I went along to avoid going home. Anywhoo....this teacher would go on and on about how I was there to watch this one really geeky boy......never let up. Thing is.....I think he thought he was funny. <_<

Aw man, I missed it! The founding father of all that is psilly was here and I was at work?!

Is there no justice???

Hey guys--sad evening here. Mousey has finally passed on. She was tiny and cute a nd loving. She used to sit on shoulder and peek out from the edge of my tanktop. She loved to 'nest' in my hair. She was maybe the best pet I ever had. Everyone who ever saw her said that she was truly the sweetest creature they had ever met. We will miss her, but I'm glad her suffering is over.

Thanks, everyone. She will be missed. Tis kind of empty and strange here in my office where she lived. Taylor is very sad. We had a little 'goodbye' moment and put a pink carnation on her grave. my husband placed her below our daughter's window so that Mousey could watch over her, the same way Taylor used to watch over Mousey--was sweet and sad.

Suzie in diapers :lol::o:rolleyes:

Sillies. There's no question. I need to win MILLIONS, and after dispersing money to loved ones, paying off houses and such, and giving money to SPCA and homeless shelters AND establishing a gluten-free/organic foods mental health institution (where we will watch the mental health of the most severely insane people completely turn around, in an experimental study), I will buy the most fabulous cabin, up at 7,000 or 8,000 elevation, in the Kaiser Wilderness, where my heart resides (1.5 hours north of FresNO).

I will live there for much of the year, with my personal chef whipping up g f culinary delights for me, and for my psillies and other dignitaries who visit on weekends and summer vacations :):)

*damn*

oh crap, it's just a dream  A long-held dream.....ever since my parents sold our cabin when I was 24 years old. (I have never recovered from this, BTW)

Good Morning, Psills. .. ....!

Now Soooozle is leaving her civckeb at her mum's. . . ......

I had a vivid dream last night. . . ......we were having all of the bricks torn off the front of our house, and new ones installed.

I was rushing home from somewhere to meet the contractor who was heading up the job, and when I met him at the end of our driveway it was Willie Nelson. He began explaining how they were going to have to rip huge holes in the front facade of the house, permanently move the kitchen to the basement .. . . .....I remember thinking that he seemed such a wise, all-knowing construction man, and how incredible it was that no one knew how Willie Nelson did THIS for a living, as well as made music.

Why in hell do we not ask the pivotal questions whilst dreaming? Did I ask, at any point, " Holy crap!! You're WILLIE NELSON! What are you doing here?? Why are you taking bricks off my house??"

No. 'Tis quite curious, how we become complacent idiots.... . . .

That Willie is quite a well rounded and diverse guy, eh? Drink some whiskey, smoke some ghanga, lay some brick, go on a tour...

Maybe Willie and Olympia could hook up and re-decorate for you. This I gotta see!

Daughter feeling better this morning. I sat with her for a very long time last night and held her. This was her first experience with losing a pet, and we all know how much it hurts :(

Thinking I might lose one or two jobs, as I find it incredibly challenging to manage it all and still be a mother to my child--which bar none comes first.

Things are actually looking rather upwards with my hubbies job, though. He may be laid off this summer, but was told they have divested and he will quite likely be moved to a new project involving "applications technology" that allows for downloads and uploads right into your car through your phone. Whatever will they think of next? The interesting thing is that it may involve trips to Seattle. Jess? You're in Seattle, aren't you? I may have to tag along ;)

I am doing a gluten challenge right now and I bought vital wheat gluten so I can know exactly how much gluten I am getting. One tablespoon is 7g so 1½ tablespoons of Vital Wheat Gluten per day will get you to 10g You could add it to bean burgers as a binder or add to hot chocolate or apple sauce and stir.

Raising you vitamin D will increase absorption of calcium automatically without supplementation of calcium.  A high PTH can be caused by low D causing poor calcium absorption; not insuffient calcium intake.  With low D your body is not absorbing calcium from your food so it steals it from your bones.  Heart has priority over bone. I've been taking 10,000 IU D3 a day since 2015.  My doctor says to continue. To fix my lactose intolerance, lots of lactobacillus from yogurts, and brine fermented pickles and saurkraut and olives.  We lose much of our ability to make lactase endogenosly with maturity but a healthy colony of lactobacillus in our gut excretes lactase in exchange for room and board. The milk protein in grass fed milk does not bother me. It tastes like the milk I grew up on.  If I drink commercial milk I get heartburn at night. Some experts estimate that 90% of us do not eat Adequite Intake of choline.  Beef and eggs are the principle source. Iodine deficiency is a growing concern.  I take 600 mcg a day of Liquid Iodine.  It and NAC have accelerated my healing all over.  Virtually blind in my right eye after starting antihypertensive medication and vision is slowly coming back.  I had to cut out starches because they drove my glucose up into the 200+ range.  I replaced them with Red Bull for the glucose intake with the vitamins, minerals and Taurine needed to process through the mitochodria Krebs Cycle to create ATP.  Went from A1c 13 down to 7.9.  Work in progress. Also take B1,B2,B3,B5,B6. Liquid Iodine, Phosphatidyl Choline, Q10, Selenium, D and DHEA.     Choline supplemented as phosphatidylcholine decreases fasting and postmethionine-loading plasma homocysteine concentrations in healthy men +

@catnapt, Wheat germ has very little gluten in it.  Gluten is  the carbohydrate storage protein, what the flour is made from, the fluffy part.  Just like with beans, there's the baby plant that will germinate  ("germ"-inate) if sprouted, and the bean part is the carbohydrate storage protein.   Wheat germ is the baby plant inside a kernel of wheat, and bran is the protective covering of the kernel.   Little to no gluten there.   Large amounts of lectins are in wheat germ and can cause digestive upsets, but not enough Gluten to provoke antibody production in the small intestines. Luckily you still have time to do a proper gluten challenge (10 grams of gluten per day for a minimum of two weeks) before your next appointment when you can be retested.

Hello, @asaT, I'm curious to know whether you are taking other B vitamins like Thiamine B1 and Niacin B3.  Malabsorption in Celiac disease affects all the water soluble B vitamins and Vitamin C.  Thiamine and Niacin are required to produce energy for all the homocysteine lowering reactions provided by Folate, Cobalamine and Pyridoxine.   Weight gain with a voracious appetite is something I experienced while malnourished.  It's symptomatic of Thiamine B1 deficiency.   Conversely, some people with thiamine deficiency lose their appetite altogether, and suffer from anorexia.  At different periods on my lifelong journey, I suffered this, too.   When the body doesn't have sufficient thiamine to turn food, especially carbohydrates, into energy (for growth and repair), the body rations what little thiamine it has available, and turns the carbs into fat, and stores it mostly in the abdomen.  Consuming a high carbohydrate diet requires additional thiamine to process the carbs into energy.  Simple carbohydrates (sugar, white rice, etc.) don't contain thiamine, so the body easily depletes its stores of Thiamine processing the carbs into fat.  The digestive system communicates with the brain to keep eating in order to consume more thiamine and other nutrients it's not absorbing.   One can have a subclinical thiamine insufficiency for years.  A twenty percent increase in dietary thiamine causes an eighty percent increase in brain function, so the symptoms can wax and wane mysteriously.  Symptoms of Thiamine insufficiency include stunted growth, chronic fatigue, and Gastrointestinal Beriberi (diarrhea, abdominal pain), heart attack, Alzheimer's, stroke, and cancer.   Thiamine improves bone turnover.  Thiamine insufficiency can also affect the thyroid.  The thyroid is important in bone metabolism.  The thyroid also influences hormones, like estrogen and progesterone, and menopause.  Vitamin D, at optimal levels, can act as a hormone and can influence the thyroid, as well as being important to bone health, and regulating the immune system.  Vitamin A is important to bone health, too, and is necessary for intestinal health, as well.   I don't do dairy because I react to Casein, the protein in dairy that resembles gluten and causes a reaction the same as if I'd been exposed to gluten, including high tTg IgA.  I found adding mineral water containing calcium and other minerals helpful in increasing my calcium intake.   Malabsorption of Celiac affects all the vitamins and minerals.  I do hope you'll talk to your doctor and dietician about supplementing all eight B vitamins and the four fat soluble vitamins because they all work together interconnectedly.

Hi Jane: You may want to try the D3 I now take. I have reactions to fillers and many additives. Sports Research, it is based in the USA and I have had no bad reactions with this brand. The D3 does have coconut oil but it is non GMO, it is Gluten free, Soy free, Soybean free and Safflower oil free.  I have a cupboard full of supplements that did not agree with me -  I just keep trying and have finally settled on Sports Research. I take NAKA Women's Multi full spectrum, and have not felt sick after taking 2 capsules per day -  it is a Canadian company. I buy both from Amazon. I wish you well in your searching, I know how discouraging it all is. Florence.
