Phunniest story evah, Rachelle!!! :lol::lol::lol:

The Navy Chief noticed a new seaman and barked at him, "Get over here! What's your name sailor?"

"John," the new seaman replied.

"Look, I don't know what kind of bleeding-heart pansy crap they're teaching sailors in boot camp these days, but I don't call anyone by his first name," the chief scowled. "It breeds familiarity, and that leads to a breakdown in authority. I refer to my sailors by their last names only; Smith, Jones, Baker, whatever. And you are to refer to me as 'Chief'. Do I make myself clear?"

"Aye, Aye Chief!"

"Now that we've got that straight, what's your last name?"

The seaman sighed. "Darling, My name is John Darling, Chief."

"Okay, John, here's what I want you to do ...."

 Now, here's trivia...... . .. .the young couple who owned Pongo and Missus (or Perdita, if one lives by Disney) in A Hundred and One Dalmations were the Darlings.

Gad......did they have a big wet spot??

Jess said "seaman"

Also named 'Darling'--the phamily on the late 'Dirty Sexy Money'. I miss it already..... :(

Rahshyell, you need to see Patteigh's unforgettable thumb avatar that she posted for a couple of days, whilst we were carrying on about this fascinating biological ratio. Pahght, do you still have it? I sometimes see it fleetingly in my brain, when driving or trying to get to sleep -- perhaps a nightmare prelude. . . .......

 Perhaps we should be mentioning this on any threads we see from overwhelmed newbies, those who just cannot seem to manage the formidable learning curve of the gluten-free diet.

Thing is, I knew it. Whilst away I had the overwhelming odor of doggy doo take me completely by surprise. I knew right then and there that I was going home to a nasty mess  . I have a sixth sense about these things, with about a +90% accuracy rate, too.

Meese are an interesting challenge. We get them in the house once in a while, but never are sure whether they get in on their own or have help from our cats. A while back Riley cornered a chipmunk in the front hall. We think she chased/brought it inside from the back deck. We opened the front door and it ran out, but only after a lengthy standoff.

he really is the (second) cutest thing (Weez being the foist). Why, just last night, he grabbed a pair of underwear from the laundry basket and dragged them to the (dog) bed next to my bed, where he sleeps. Was tangled up in them for half an hour. GROSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:unsure::o

I love him ♥♥♥♥♥

Hello, I was very stick,  with flu like symptoms, but my virus panel came back negative and we couldn’t figure out what’s going on. The doctor then added a celiac panel.  Has anyone ever had such a dramatic change?  What are the odds this is true celiac I am going to have an endoscopy, but it’s expensive and I just feel like why can’t the labs be enough?

Eating out in general is full of risks, but this article may help:
    • trents
This kind of question is always difficult to give a definitive answer to because of so many variables. One such variable is the sensitivity of the individual celiac to small amounts of gluten cross contamination. An amount that causes a reaction in one celiac many not in another, or at least not be discernable which, of course, does not exactly equate to being "safe".

I don't live in the US, but based on this thread, I wouldn't risk it:   https://www.reddit.com/r/glutenfree/comments/1n2ehw8/cracker_barrel/   This app is helpful: https://www.findmeglutenfree.com/

I see that Cracker Barrel restaurants have a gluten free menu (not all locations, but one confirmed that they do). I was wondering if it is safe for my 5 year old son with celiac disease?
