I believe it is registered with the FDA. It came with papers listing ingredients, nutrition info and safe care & handling practices.

But is it gluten-free? Inquiring minds want to know.

The big boss called him, and two other engineers, all with the same PM, into his office and told them to quit worrying about their jobs. So now I'm thinking the PM's butt is on the line and that's why she's treating the guys under her like crap.

Jesse has a meeting with HR and his boss today to talk about how upset he is that he didn't get the promotion he was up for (it totally should have been his), and how unsatisfied he is working for the company and the direction he thinks it's heading. He thinks they will give him 2 options for immediate advancement- district sales manager in Cincinnati or the head of the Service Excellence dept. So we either have to move for job 1 or he has to travel 3 days a week for job 2. We shall see.....

Do you have a preference of which way you would like that to go?

Actually, there are 2 more options....keep the same job or leave.

Do you want to move?

Not sure as I don't plan to eat Fluffy Snoflake Coconut Sugar Head. Much disagreement about a name for this pup. 7 year old girl wants names like coconut or snowball. 3 older brothers & dad want a name they aren't embarrassed to call. My boys said someone needs to explain that names with balls or nuts in them are not good choices.

Perhaps, we should have Max speak to her?

For him, the only other option is to leave the job. He doesn't want to continue in his current position bc it's getting him nowhere and he's way too driven to stay put. I would prefer he take the traveling job. If he takes the job in Ohio, he would be working every night until about 8pm anyway, so he'd never get to see us. I currently work 3 12's and on those days I only get to see the kids for about a half hour before they're off to bed. He could Skype with them on the nights he's out of town and see more of them than I do... And then I would be able to cut my hours to be home with the kids every afternoon. I feel like I might be a little selfish in my choice

Yes, lets involve Max  The name would be something like Darth Maul, Jabba, etc... I think if you have a fluffy white girlie dog, you need to counterbalance that with a strong, menacing name :P

--Max hasn't mentioned his balls in weeks!:lol:

Oh! Get this--Preface: When we were thinking about getting another bunny, the name 'Simon' just came to me. Have no idea where it came from... Anyway-So I'm out on my front porch making ice cream and this neighbor is out on a walk. He comes up to the porch and starts chit-chatting about how long he's been in the neighborhood, how the guy that owned our house was a crazy bastard, the house was a stye (sp??), he had about a dozen cars, blah, blah, blah. Anyway, he starts talking about this guy's dog who would case out the neighborhood, making sure that everyone and everything was in place :P The dog's name..... Simon :o

So apparently, in addition to the last owner's mother haunting our house (nicely), the spirit of Simon the dog is around too!

I will suggest those names! She liked Optimus Prime, the transformer, but we agreed it was too hard to yell if the dog is running down the street.

Max's favorite Star Wars character is General Grievous. That'd be cute :D

Sooooooo, the meeting didn't go fabulously. He's pissed and disappointed. Sounds like the traveling job is definately an option if he's interested, but it's just temporary until he/we move. He said, and I agree, if we're going to move, let's go somewhere we WANT to go. East coast perhaps. N or S Carolina, New York, Maine, Virginia, Massachusetts.... Who knows. I don't like to see him unhappy and unsatisfied. I feel like they want him to stay in this division bc he's an asset to them, so they keep putting him off, hoping he'll quit b%$@#ing.

Boo <_<

So is this the place to vent about my inlaws? Ugh. We're moving in a few weeks and they want to come visit to "help". This is sure to make my move more stressful. Found out this morning IL's and BIL are all coming the day BEFORE we move and expect to stay with us. Umm...we live in a tiny two BR apartment. Our spare room has been an office, we don't have an extra bed and I have already packed the extra sheets. Office is already piled high with boxes and I was planning on filling it up more. MIL and FIL have complained about every hotel they have ever stayed in while visiting us (the last time being our wedding and they CHOSE their hotel). They will have to sleep on the couch (not a pull out) and an air matress in the living room (which is so small we will be stepping over them to get to the gallery kitchen). They also always complain about restaurant food no mater where we go. They haven't visited since my major dietary changes and no matter how much we try to explain they don't understand. I had a nigthmare last night that I came downstairs in the new house after moving and found MIL toasting regualar bread in my gluten-free toaster! Argh!!! :o

You & especially thier child, Hub, must put your foot down. You are not able to have guests, you are moving. You would love to have them in 2 weeks, 1 month... when you are settled and able to enjoy a visit. Everything is packed. You have plenty of helpers. I have a feeling MIL will set up your kitchen, etc.

Honestly, they can't come just decide to come without an invitation. Your husband is going to have to put his foot down with these people. YOu doing it probably won't matter. You are just that stupid girl who took thier son away.

Tell them "Great! Everything is packed, and the office is full of boxes, so bring sleeping bags and you can sleep on the kitchen floor." Ask them to pick up some instant coffee on their way, and some disposable bowls, and maybe extra milk so you can all have breakfast together before you get started. You'll provide the cereal.

Have you tried Pure Encapsulations supplements? This is a brand my doctor recommends for me. I have no issues with this brand.

plant sources of calcium, such as spinach, have calcium bound to oxalates, which is not good. best source of calcium is unfortunately dairy, do you tolerate dairy? fermented dairy like kefir is good and or a little hard cheese. i do eat dairy, i can only take so much dietary restriction and gluten is hard enough! but i guess some people do have bad reactions to it, so different for everyone.

i take b12, folate, b2, b6, glycine, Nac, zinc, vk2 mk4, magnesium, coq10, pqq, tmg, creatine, omega 3, molybdnem (sp) and just started vit d. quite a list i know.  I have high homocysteine (last checked it was 19, but is always high and i finally decided to do something about it) and very low vitamin d, 10. have been opposed to this supp in the past, but going to try it at 5k units a day. having a pth test on friday, which is suspect will be high. my homocysteine has come down to around 9 with 3 weeks of these supplements and expect it to go down further. i also started on estrogen/progesterone. I have osteoporosis too, so that is why the hormones.  anyway, i think all celiacs should have homocysteine checked and treated if needed (easy enough with b vit, tmg). homocysteine very bad thing to be high for a whole host of reasons. all the bad ones, heart attack , stroke, alzi, cancer..... one of the most annoying things about celiacs (and there are so many!) is the weight gain. i guess i stayed thin all those years being undiagnosed because i was under absorbing everything including calories. going gluten-free and the weight gain has been terrible, 30#, but i'm sure a lot more went into that (hip replacement - and years of hip pain leading to inactivity when i was previously very active, probably all related to celiacs, menopause) yada yada. i seemed to lose appetite control, like there was low glp, or leptin or whatever all those hormones are that tell you that you are full and to stop eating. my appetite is immense and i'm never full. i guess decades or more ( i think i have had celiacs since at least my teens - was hospitalized for abdominal pain and diarrhea for which spastic colon was eventually diagnosed and had many episodes of diarrhea/abdominal pain through my 20's. but that symptom seemed to go away and i related it to dairy much more so than gluten. Also my growth was stunted, i'm the only shorty in my family. anyway, decades of malabsorption and maldigestion led to constant hunger, at least thats my theory. then when i started absorbing normally, wham!! FAT!!!

Great advise there I agree with the aniexty part, and the aura migraine has I suffer both, I've also read some great books that have helped I'm going too look the one you mentioned up too thankyou for that, I find a camomile tea just a small one and a gentle wind down before bed has helped me too, I suffer from restless leg syndrome and nerve pain hence I don't always sleep well at the best of times , racing mind catches up I have decorated my whole house in one night in my mind before 🤣 diet changes mindset really help , although I have to say it never just disappears, I find once I came to terms with who I am I managed a lot better  , a misconception is for many to change , that means to heal but that's not always the case , understanding and finding your coping mechanisms are vital tools , it's more productive to find that because there is no failure then no pressure to become something else , it's ok to be sad it's ok to not sleep , it's ok to worry , just try to see it has a journey not a task 🤗

I agree there I've tryed this myself to prove I can't eat gluten or lactose and it sets me back for about a month till I have to go back to being very strict to settle again
